This Armor comprises five individual pieces Arm Armor, Chest Armor, Leg Armor, Torso Armor and a Bodysuit. also included is a Sword prop which has been saved in Four versions, Smart propped to the Right hand, Smart propped to the Left hand, and Parented to the Torso armor, also free standing so that you can place it where you like. Hand poses are provided in the Hands folder. Usage tips and techniques. All of the Armor uses displacement maps to give the impression of depth to the rendered images. I therefore recommend that you Check the "Use displacement maps" box when setting up your render settings, Arm Armor, The Paladoms (Shoulder Armor) do not follow the movement of V4 shoulders, this is deliberate and was done to prevent the mesh from distorting or stretching when it inherits V4's movements. Instead dials have been provided to enable you to pose this part of the armor manually, There are dials for Front back, Up down, and Twist, in addition you have the freedom to move the shoulder armor in the X,Y,Z plain also. The Torso armor skirt plates are also independently poseable, to position them to suit the pose of the V4 figure, again this was done so that the skirt armor would not distort as a cloth skirt would tend to do. Because of the way rigging works in Poser the pivot points of the Torso Armor skirt plates is fixed. However for the smaller and Larger morphs such as Bulk, Fantasia, and Sylph, this would have meant that the plates pivoted in the wrong position. For this reason the morphs for Bulk Fantasia and Sylph have been saved as injection poses in the poses folder. This enabled me to move the pivot points to the correct positions for these particular morphs. So if you need to use the morphs for FBMBulk, Elite,Fantasia or Elite,Sylph, you will find their morphs in the poses folder, this applies for the Torso armor only. Poses folder. There are Three folders in the Poses/!S37DreamQuest Directory. One is the "!Matposes" folder which contains the Matposes for the different armor pieces. One is for the Morphs mentioned earlier, for the Torso armor. The last one, "MetalStyles" holds the mat poses for loading the textures based on Parrtdolphins tiled textures. There are two different techniques for loading the textures because one set is texturemap based, and the other uses seamless tiled textures and shader nodes. To load the texturemap based files you need to first select the item you wish to apply the texture to ie the Arm Armor, then Load the file texture for that item. In the usual manner. To load the ParrotDolphin Metalstyles you just need to select the Armor piece that you wish to load the texture on to and the click on the relevant icon, ie, Embossed Chrome, will load on anyone of the armor pieces, Any questions, please IM me at Renderosity, always happy to help :) Magnetize Clothing. It is recommended that the Daz' Magnetize to V4 pose, is used on the Chest armor and the Bodysuit The use of the magnetize pose on the other armor pieces is not nessecary and may cause unecessary poke thru on some poses and I have found it of little value for this outfit, except for the Chest armor and Bodysuit which benefits from it's use. When V4's arms are raised, the armor around her breasts will follow, saving her embarassment :) Character Inj files.
