Product Name : Pauline Boho Dress *************************************************** © Copyright 2016 Kerstin Weihe (karanta) All Rights Reserved The product was designed on a PC with Windows 7 and not tested on a MAC. *********************************************************************************** All of the content in this package was created by Kerstin Weihe (karanta). ****************************************************************************** The prop dress in this set can only be used in the Poser Cloth Room. For using this product you need to have Poser 11 or Poser 11 Pro and Pauline which is included in Poser 11 and Poser 11 Pro. =================================================================================================== Included in this set are: - Boho Dress (smart prop / dynamic clothing) - Poses for IKOFF Legs and IKOn Legs (Pauline) - Pose to Zero Figure (Pauline) - 05 Material settings with lace sleeves (mc6) - 05 Material settings with fabric sleeves (mc6) - 05 textures 4000 x 4000 pixel - 02 bumpmaps 4000 x 4000 pixel - 01 transmap 4000 x 4000 pixel Dress Morphs: - BottomWide - FrontUp - BackUp - SkirtLonger - SkirtLongerWavy - LSleeveWide - RSleeveWide - LSleeveSmaller - RSleeveSmaller - LSleeveLonger - RSleeveLonger The dress has several morphs which are meant to be used before your cloth simulation. Some of the skirt morphs may be used to change the shape of the skirt a bit after the simulation. Just play around a bit with the morphs to see which results you can get with them. =================================================================================================== Unzip all files to your Poser Runtime Directory. =================================================================================================== ::::::::::: Usage notes ::::::::::: Please follow these steps for your first clothing simulation, or have a look at your Poser manual if you are not familiar with the Cloth Room: Load Pauline into your scene: - Click on Pauline, then in the Menue on "Figure --> Use Inverse Kinematics" and make sure all is unchecked. - Click on "Figure", select Pauline and click on "Zero Figure" I also included poses for you to make this step quicker / easier. You will find them in the same folder as the clothes. These are the poses: !IKOffLegs, !IKOnLegs and !FigureZero - Open your props library and load the dress into your scene. - Open the Cloth Room and click on "New simulation" - You can leave the setting as they are or if you just want to make a quicker try - lower the end frame for example to 15. - Click on "ok" - Click Clothify and choose the dress - it will be listed under props - then hit Clothify to exit the dialog box. Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose Pauline. (The simulation will be quicker if you uncheck all bodyparts which will not affect the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has Pauline displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want. Hit "ok" If you work with the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 - 20 and add a pose to Pauline. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. When the simulation is finished and the result is to smooth for your taste, you can always go a few frames back. - Click on "start simulation". It will take a bit time until the simulation will be done. How much time depends on you computer. If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. I often use different fabric settings for different poses. There is nothing like "best settings" for a pose. If you use the dress for sitting poses, you may need to change the settings for FoldResistance, ShearResistance and Strech Resistence. Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations to get the best settings for the look you want. I hope you will have fun with this set :) Kerstin Weihe / karanta **************************************************************** Filelist: ..\Documentation\ Pauline-BohoDress-karanta.txt Renderosity License.txt ..\Runtime\Geometries\Karanta\ KW_PaulineBohoDress.obj ..\Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Clothing\karanta - Pauline\Bohemian Dress\ Dress 01 with Lace.mc6 Dress 01 with Lace.png Dress 01.mc6 Dress 01.png Dress 02 with Lace.mc6 Dress 02 with Lace.png Dress 02.mc6 Dress 02.png Dress 03 with Lace.mc6 Dress 03 with Lace.png Dress 03.mc6 Dress 03.png Dress 04 with Lace.mc6 Dress 04 with Lace.png Dress 04.mc6 Dress 04.png Dress 05 with Lace.mc6 Dress 05 with Lace.png Dress 05.mc6 Dress 05.png ..\Runtime\Libraries\Props\Clothing\Pauline - karanta\Bohemian Dress\ !FigureZero.png !FigureZero.pz2 !IKOffLegs.png !IKOffLegs.pz2 !IKOnLegs.png !IKOnLegs.pz2 Boho Dress.pmd Boho Dress.png Boho Dress.pp2 ..\Runtime\Textures\Karanta\KWPaulineBohoDr\ KW_PaulineBohoDrB1.jpg KW_PaulineBohoDrB2.jpg KW_PaulineBohoDrT1.jpg KW_PaulineBohoDrT2.jpg KW_PaulineBohoDrT3.jpg KW_PaulineBohoDrT4.jpg KW_PaulineBohoDrT5.jpg KW_PaulineBohoDrTR1.jpg
