All of this product's content was created by Richabri. =============================================================================== Description: =============================================================================== The Studio Apartment is a 25-piece (PP2) prop set replicating a completely furnished small studio apartment setting with bathroom fixtures, kitchen appliances and basic room furnishings. I wanted a design for a very small apartment that not only worked as a livable space, but one that would also work well in Poser (or Daz Studio), even though it was enclosing such a small space. The Studio Apartment succeeds at both and by making the entire set so modular, it overcomes any difficulties in setting up a scene no matter what part of the set is being used. All of the walls (including the ceiling) are separate props so they can be used or removed as your scene requires. The Studio Apartment also comes with two PZ3 files that will load in either the complete set (all furniture) or just the building props with kitchen and bathroom fixtures along with a default lighting scheme and all render parameters set to go. You will need Poser 5 (or higher) or Daz Studio to use this set. The Studio Apartment also comes with all of the texture templates to allow you to give the props a custom look of your own design. ============================================================================= Notes: =============================================================================== DOORS: All doors (except the closet and shower unit doors) have their joint parameters adjusted to swing open from their hinge areas with a normal Y-Rotation. The sliding closet and shower unit doors slide open with an X-Trans. There are no limits to the swing however so you should be careful to control the final position of the door(s) being opened. LIGHTING: The default lighting scheme uses one point light (Main) and three infinite lights with only the 'Main' light having the ability to create shadows and the other three providing fill and ambient lighting. After experimenting with different lighting rigs, I think this is the best one because there is no one single rig that will adequately light all parts of the set at once. The trick is to simply drag the Main (point light) to whichever room you're setting up your scene in and adjust the other three infinite lights to suit. =============================================================================== To install: Unzip the archive (Studio-Apt.zip) to the root folder wherever you installed Poser: (i.e., C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser 8).
