Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose PE. (The simulation will be quicker if you uncheck all bodyparts which will not affect the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has PE displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want. The default "1.0" is usually way to high. Try something between 0.3 and 0.5 instead. Hit "ok" If you work with the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 - 20 and add a pose to PE. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. When the simulation is finished and the result is not to your taste, you can always go a few frames back. - Click on "start simulation". It will take a bit time until the simulation will be done. How much time depends on you computer. If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. I often use different fabric settings for different poses. There is nothing like "best settings" for all poses. Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations to get the best settings for the look you want. ::::::::::::::::::: I highly recommend using the Poser morph brush after your simulation if neccessary. In dynamic clothes you will sometimes have wrinkles or strange looking areas which need a little bit of work with the morph brush! ::::::::::::::::::: If you use this dress for V4, Dawn or Pauline 1 or 2 use the matching fit morph and change it to "1". I you notice that the dress does not fit any more, when the simulation is finished, just change the fit morph for the dress back to zero. ::::::::::::::::::: Materials: You can change the colors of the white lace materials by changing the diffuse color in the material room to a color of your choice. If you want to change the color of the trims / hem to a color which is not included in the presets, just use the white trims / hem and also change the diffuse color in the material room. ::::::::::::::::::: I hope you will have fun with this set :) Kerstin Weihe / karanta **************************************************************** Product list: ..\Documentation\ PE_MoniqueDress-karanta.txt Renderosity License.txt ..\Runtime\Geometries\karanta\Evolution\ karanta_PE_MoniqueDress.obj ..\Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Evolution\Karanta\PE Monique Dress\ 01 no trans.mc6 01 no trans.png 01.mc6 01.png 02 no trans.mc6 02 no trans.png 02.mc6 02.png 03 no trans.mc6 03 no trans.png 03.mc6 03.png 04 no trans.mc6 04 no trans.png 04.mc6 04.png 05 no trans.mc6 05 no trans.png 05.mc6 05.png 06 no trans.mc6 06 no trans.png 06.mc6 06.png 07 no trans.mc6 07 no trans.png 07.mc6 07.png Trims and Hem 01.mc6 Trims and Hem 01.png Trims and Hem 02.mc6 Trims and Hem 02.png Trims and Hem 03.mc6 Trims and Hem 03.png Trims and Hem 04.mc6 Trims and Hem 04.png Trims and Hem 05.mc6 Trims and Hem 05.png Trims and Hem 06.mc6 Trims and Hem 06.png Trims and Hem 07.mc6 Trims and Hem 07.png Trims and Hem 08.mc6 Trims and Hem 08.png Trims and Hem 09.mc6 Trims and Hem 09.png Trims and Hem 10.mc6 Trims and Hem 10.png Trims and Hem 11.mc6 Trims and Hem 11.png Trims and Hem 12.mc6 Trims and Hem 12.png Trims and Hem 13.mc6 Trims and Hem 13.png Trims and Hem 14.mc6 Trims and Hem 14.png Trims and Hem 15.mc6 Trims and Hem 15.png ..\Runtime\Libraries\Props\Clothing\Evolution\karanta\ Monique Dress Constrained.png Monique Dress Constrained.pp2 Monique Dress.png Monique Dress.pp2 ..\Runtime\Textures\Karanta\Evolution\karanta_PE_MoniqDr\ KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_01.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_01B.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_01Tr.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_02.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_02B.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_02Tr.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_03.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_03B.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_03Tr.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_04.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_04B.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Flow_04Tr.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_GLIT01.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_GLIT_Tr.png KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Silk01.jpg KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Silk02.jpg KW_ATH_PE_Moniq_Silk03.jpg
