It will be listed under props - then hit Clothify to exit the dialog box. Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose the woman. (The simulation will be quicker if you uncheck all bodyparts which will not affect the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has the woman displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want. The default "1.0" is usually way to high. Try something between 0.2 and 0.5 instead. Hit "ok" If you work with the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 - 20 and add a pose to the woman. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. When the simulation is finished and the result is not to your taste, you can always go a few frames back. For this clothing item I suggest to use a lot more frames to give the sleeves time to relax. For my images I used 60 frames. I added the pose to frame 20 and waited until the sleeves looked nice and stopped the simulation.Sometimes it needed the whole 60 frames until the sleeves were relaxed. - Click on "start simulation". It will take a bit time until the simulation will be done, because the dress has a lot of polygons. How much time it will need depends on your computer. If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. I often use different fabric settings for different poses. There is nothing like "best settings" for all poses. Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations to get the best settings for the look you want. ::::::::::::::::::: I highly recommend using the Poser morph brush after your simulation if neccessary. With dynamic clothes you will sometimes have wrinkles or strange looking areas which need a little bit of work with the morph brush! Usually the following areas of the clothing item needs some smoothing: - Inner Elbows - Wrist - Armpits - Neckarea (the small constrained area at the left and right collar) - other sharp folds ::::::::::::::::::: If you use these clothes for V4, Dawn or Pauline, use the matching fit morph and change it to "1". If you notice that the clothing does not fit any more, when the simulation is finished, just change the fit morph for the cloth / clothes back to zero. ::::::::::::::::::: I hope you will have fun with this set :) Kerstin Weihe / karanta **************************************************************** Product list: ..\Documentation\ Nia Dress PE V4 Dawn Pauline karanta.txt Renderosity License.txt ..\Renderosity Produktordner\Runtime\Geometries\karanta\Evolution\ karanta_PE_Nia_Dress.obj ..\Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Evolution\Karanta\PE Nia Dress\ 01.mc6 01.png 02.mc6 02.png 03.mc6 03.png 04.mc6 04.png 05.mc6 05.png 06.mc6 06.png 07.mc6 07.png 08.mc6 08.png 09.mc6 09.png 10.mc6 10.png 11.mc6 11.png 12.mc6 12.png 13.mc6 13.png 14.mc6 14.png ..\Runtime\Libraries\Props\Clothing\Evolution\karanta\ Nia Dress.png Nia Dress.pp2 ..\Runtime\Textures\Karanta\Evolution\karanta_PE_NiaDress\ karanta_Nia_AT_B02.png karanta_Nia_AT_B03.png karanta_Nia_AT_B06.png karanta_Nia_AT_B08.png karanta_Nia_AT_B09.png karanta_Nia_AT_GLIT_TR.png karanta_Nia_AT_Glit02.png karanta_Nia_AT_Glit03.png karanta_Nia_AT_Glit04.png karanta_Nia_AT_Glit05.png karanta_Nia_AT_Glit08.png karanta_Nia_AT_Glit13.png karanta_Nia_AT_Glit14.png karanta_Nia_AT_T01.jpg karanta_Nia_AT_T02.png karanta_Nia_AT_T03.png karanta_Nia_AT_T04.jpg karanta_Nia_AT_T05.jpg karanta_Nia_AT_T06.png karanta_Nia_AT_T07.jpg karanta_Nia_AT_T08.png karanta_Nia_AT_T09.png karanta_Nia_AT_T14.jpg karanta_Nia_AT_TR01.jpg karanta_Nia_AT_TR04.jpg karanta_Nia_AT_TR06.jpg karanta_Nia_AT_TR07.jpg karanta_Nia_AT_TR08.png karanta_Nia_AT_TR09.png karanta_Nia_B10.jpg karanta_Nia_B11.png karanta_Nia_T11.png karanta_Nia_T11b.jpg karanta_Nia_T12.png karanta_Nia_T12b.png karanta_Nia_T12c.png karanta_Nia_T13.png
