For using this set you need to have Poser 8 or higher and Project Evolution, V4, Dawn or Pauline. =================================================================================================== Included in this set are: - Dress - 14 Material settings (mc6) - 15 Textures Included morphs: - Fit V4 - Fit Dawn - Fit Pauline 1 - Fit Pauline 2 - Flat Chest - Skirt Length - Skirt Bottom Width The clothing item has an external obj file in the geometries folder. =================================================================================================== Unzip all files to your Poser Runtime Directory. ::::::::::: Usage notes for PE (or a woman from the fit morph list) ::::::::::: Please follow these steps for your first clothing simulation, or have a look at your Poser manual if you are not familiar with the Cloth Room. ****** Load the woman of your choice into your scene: - Click on the woman, then in the Menue on "Figure --> Use Inverse Kinematics" and make sure all is unchecked. - Click on "Figure", select the woman and click on "Zero Figure" - Open your props library and load the cloth / clothes into your scene. - Open the Cloth Room and click on "New simulation" ::::::::::::::::::: Cloth self collison needs to be checked in the simulation settings! ::::::::::::::::::: - You can leave the other setting as they or change them for your needs. - Click on "ok" - Click Clothify and choose the cloth / clothes. It will be listed under props - then hit Clothify to exit the dialog box. Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose the woman. (The simulation will be quicker if you only check the bodyparts which will be affected by the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has the woman displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want. The default "1.0" is usually way to high. Try something between 0.2 and 0.5 instead. Hit "ok" If you work with the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 - 20 and add a pose to the woman. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. When the simulation is finished and the result is not to your taste, you can always go a few frames back. - Click on "start simulation". If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. I often use different fabric settings for different poses. There is nothing like "best settings" for all poses. Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations about the cloth room. ::::::::::::::::::: I highly recommend using the Poser morph brush after your simulation if neccessary. With dynamic clothes you will sometimes have wrinkles, sharp folds or strange looking areas which need a little bit of work with the morph brush! You can smooth out the area of the constrained neck area with the smooth brush if necessary. ::::::::::::::::::: If you use these clothing item for V4, Dawn or Pauline, use the matching fit morph and change it to "1". If you notice that the clothing does not fit any more, when the simulation is finished, just change the fit morph for the cloth / clothes back to zero. ::::::::::::::::::: I hope you will have fun with this set :) Kerstin Weihe / karanta **************************************************************** Product list: ..\Renderosity Produktordner\Documentation\ Mila Dress PE V4 Dawn Pauline karanta.txt Renderosity License.txt ..\Runtime\Geometries\karanta\Evolution\ karanta_PE_MilaDress.obj ..\Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Evolution\Karanta\PE Mila Dress\ 01.mc6 01.png 02.mc6 02.png 03.mc6 03.png 04.mc6 04.png 05.mc6 05.png 06.mc6 06.png 07.mc6 07.png 08.mc6 08.png 09.mc6 09.png 10.mc6 10.png 11.mc6 11.png 12.mc6 12.png 13.mc6 13.png 14.mc6 14.png ..\Runtime\Libraries\Props\Clothing\Evolution\karanta\ Mila Dress.png Mila Dress.pp2 ..\Runtime\Textures\Karanta\Evolution\karanta_PE_MilaDress\ karanta_PE_MilaDress_B1.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T1.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T10.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T11.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T12.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T13.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T14.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T2.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T3.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T4.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T5.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T6.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T7.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T8.jpg karanta_PE_MilaDress_T9.jpg
