For using this set you need to have Poser 8 or higher and the Kids 4 from Daz. =================================================================================================== Included in this set are: - Sweater - 14 Material settings (mc6) - 15 Textures - all 4096 x 4096 pixel Morphs: - Bottom Side Wide both - Bottom Side Wide r - Bottom Side Wide l - Bottom Front Back Wide - Longer The clothing item has an external obj file in the geometries folder. =================================================================================================== Unzip all files to your Poser Runtime Directory. ::::::::::: Usage notes ::::::::::: Please follow these steps for your first clothing simulation, or have a look at your Poser manual if you are not familiar with the Cloth Room. ::::::::::::::::::: Load the kid into your scene: - Click on the kid, then in the Menue on "Figure --> Use Inverse Kinematics" and make sure all is unchecked. - Click on "Figure", select the kid and click on "Zero Figure" - Open your props library and load the cloth / clothes into your scene. - Open the Cloth Room and click on "New simulation" - You can leave the setting as they are or change them for your needs. - Make sure "cloth self-collision" is checked - Click on "ok" - Click Clothify and choose the cloth / clothes. It will be listed under props - then hit Clothify to exit the dialog box. Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose the kid. (The simulation will be quicker if you only check the bodyparts which will be affected by the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has the kid displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want. The default "1.0" is usually way to high. Try something between 0.2 and 0.5 instead. Hit "ok" If you work with the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 - 20 and add a pose to the kid. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. When the simulation is finished and the result is not to your taste, you can always go a few frames back. - Click on "start simulation". If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. I often use different fabric settings for different poses. There is nothing like "best settings" for all poses. Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations about the cloth room. ::::::::::::::::::: I highly recommend using the Poser morph brush after your simulation if neccessary. With dynamic clothes you will sometimes have wrinkles, sharp folds or strange looking areas which need a little bit of work with the morph brush! ::::::::::::::::::: Rendering: I would suggest to change the "Subdivision Levels" in the "Properties" of the dress for "Render" to 1. ::::::::::::::::::: I hope you will have fun with this set :) Kerstin Weihe / karanta **************************************************************** Product list: ..\Documentation\ Kids 4 Long Sweater karanta.txt Renderosity License.txt ..\Runtime\Geometries\karanta\ KW_MLK4_LSweater19.obj ..\Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Karanta\Kids 4 Long Sweater\ 01.mc6 01.png 02.mc6 02.png 03.mc6 03.png 04.mc6 04.png 05.mc6 05.png 06.mc6 06.png 07.mc6 07.png 08.mc6 08.png 09.mc6 09.png 10.mc6 10.png 11.mc6 11.png 12.mc6 12.png 13.mc6 13.png 14.mc6 14.png ..\Runtime\Libraries\Props\Karanta\Kids 4\ Long Sweater.png Long Sweater.pp2 ..\Runtime\Textures\Karanta\karanta_MLK4_LSweater\ KW_MLK4_LSweater19_B.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T01.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T02.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T03.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T04.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T05.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T06.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T07.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T08.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T09.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T10.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T11.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T12.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T13.jpg KW_MLK4_LSweater19_T14.jpg
