Product Name : Mara Set and 14 Styles for the Kids 4 ************************************************************************************* © Copyright 2019 Kerstin Weihe (karanta) All Rights Reserved The product was designed on a PC with Windows 7 and not tested on a MAC. *********************************************************************************** All of the content in this package was created by karanta. ****************************************************************************** The prop cloth in this set can only be used with the Poser Cloth Room. For using this set you need to have Poser 8 or higher and the Kids 4 from Daz. =================================================================================================== Included in this set are: - Top - Skirt - 14 Material settings (mc6) - 15 Textures - all 4096 x 4096 pixel Top morphs: - Back Shorter - Bottom Width The clothing item has an external obj file in the geometries folder. =================================================================================================== Unzip all files to your Poser Runtime Directory. ::::::::::: Usage notes ::::::::::: Please follow these steps for your first clothing simulation, or have a look at your Poser manual if you are not familiar with the Cloth Room. ::::::::::::::::::: Load the kid into your scene: - Click on the kid, then in the Menue on "Figure --> Use Inverse Kinematics" and make sure all is unchecked. - Click on "Figure", select the kid and click on "Zero Figure" - Open your props library and load the cloth / clothes into your scene. - Open the Cloth Room and click on "New simulation" - You can leave the setting as they are or change them for your needs. - Make sure "cloth self-collision" is checked - Click on "ok" - Click Clothify and choose the cloth / clothes. It will be listed under props - then hit Clothify to exit the dialog box. Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose the kid. (The simulation will be quicker if you only check the bodyparts which will be affected by the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has the kid displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want. The default "1.0" is usually way to high. Try something between 0.2 and 0.5 instead. Hit "ok" If you work with the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 - 20 and add a pose to the kid. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. When the simulation is finished and the result is not to your taste, you can always go a few frames back. - Click on "start simulation". If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. I often use different fabric settings for different poses. There is nothing like "best settings" for all poses. Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations about the cloth room. ::::::::::::::::::: I highly recommend using the Poser morph brush after your simulation if neccessary. With dynamic clothes you will sometimes have wrinkles, sharp folds or strange looking areas which need a little bit of work with the morph brush! ::::::::::::::::::: I hope you will have fun with this set :) Kerstin Weihe / karanta **************************************************************** Product list: ..\Documentation\ Kids 4 Mara Set karanta.txt Renderosity License.txt ..\Runtime\Geometries\karanta\ KW_MLK4_MaraSkirt19.obj KW_MLK4_MaraTop19.obj ..\Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Karanta\Kids 4 Mara Set\ 01 Skirt.mc6 01 Skirt.png 01 Top.mc6 01 Top.png 02 Skirt.mc6 02 Skirt.png 02 Top.mc6 02 Top.png 03 Skirt.mc6 03 Skirt.png 03 Top.mc6 03 Top.png 04 Skirt.mc6 04 Skirt.png 04 Top.mc6 04 Top.png 05 Skirt.mc6 05 Skirt.png 05 Top.mc6 05 Top.png 06 Skirt.mc6 06 Skirt.png 06 Top.mc6 06 Top.png 07 Skirt.mc6 07 Skirt.png 07 Top.mc6 07 Top.png 08 Skirt.mc6 08 Skirt.png 08 Top.mc6 08 Top.png 09 Skirt.mc6 09 Skirt.png 09 Top.mc6 09 Top.png 10 Skirt.mc6 10 Skirt.png 10 Top.mc6 10 Top.png 11 Skirt.mc6 11 Skirt.png 11 Top.mc6 11 Top.png 12 Skirt.mc6 12 Skirt.png 12 Top.mc6 12 Top.png 13 Skirt.mc6 13 Skirt.png 13 Top.mc6 13 Top.png 14 Skirt.mc6 14 Skirt.png 14 Top.mc6 14 Top.png ..\Runtime\Libraries\Props\Karanta\Kids 4\ Mara Skirt.png Mara Skirt.pp2 Mara Top.png Mara Top.pp2 ..\Runtime\Textures\Karanta\karanta_MLK4_MaraSet\ KW_MLK4_MaraSet_B.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T01.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T02.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T03.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T04.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T05.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T06.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T07.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T08.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T09.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T10.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T11.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T12.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T13.jpg KW_MLK4_MaraSet_T14.jpg
