--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Sticks, Bark and Chiseled End Textures", by Forester All copyrights to this product reserved by Forester - March 2020 Ownership statement:All of the content in this package was created by Forester ================================================================ This is a general-use package of 20 small diameter and 13 medium diameter "sticks", plus seven (7) firewood sized logs. The "sticks" are shaped as low-polygon dead tree branches that have been broken off or cut with a stone axe, so that their ends have a chiseled appearence. The package includes four different bark textures, and alternative red, tan and pale yellow chiseled end textures. The small and medium diameter are here as individual objects, so that they can be arranged as best suits your scene. Because of the difficulty in assembling the branching sticks into "carry bundles" without creating visible instersections, this package includes three pre-made bundles of the small diamater tree branches, and two piles of the logs. Finally, the package includes one North American neolithic hand axe, modeled after one found in the University of Iowa collection. This is the kind of tool that would have been used to cut the tree branches and logs into pieces small enough to carry. Included in this package: * 20 Small Diameter Dead Tree Branches * 13 Medium Diameter Dead Tree Branches * 7 Dead Firewood Logs * Three different bundles of small diameter dead tree branches, densely packed for hand or animal carry. Each of these uses a different set bark and chiseled end texture; each uses more than one bark texture so that the branches have natural variation. * Two different piles of firewood (logs and medium-diameter branches). Each pile uses a different set bark and chiseled end texture; each uses more than one bark texture so that the branches have natural variation. * North American Neolithic Hand Axe Alternative bark textuure - Textures that are 512x512 pixels in size are for the small-diameter branches Textures that are 1024x1024 pixels in size are for the medium-diameter branches and logs * Bark_Ash_512 - (8 versions) Dry Moss Ash 1 through Dry Moss Ash 5. Green Ash 1 through Green Ash 3 * Bark_RedPlane_512 (5 versions) * Bark_RedPlane_1024 (2 versions) * Bark_SilverMaple_512 (2 versions) * Bark_SilverMaple_Big (1 version) * Bark_Sycamore_512 (7 versions) Dry Sycamore 1 through 7, * Bark_Sycamore 1024 - (2 versions) One texture set for the split area of the stwo split logs * MiddleGrain_1024 Three alternative textures for the chiseled ends of the branches and logs * Chiseled_Ends (Reddish wood, tan and light wood colors) REQUIREMENTS: Any application that can import files in *.obj file format. Usage and Tips: You may wish to apply some of the alternative textures to the dead tree branches in this package, or apply some of your own devising. You should know that the bark textures for the small-diameter branches are intended to be 512x512 pixels in size, and to have repetition along the V-axis. That is, the round diameter (the "U" axis) should have a repetition of "1", but the "V" axis should have a repetition of "8" when the texture pixel size is 512x512. The bark textures for the logs and medium-diameter branches should have texture files applied to them that are 1024x1024, or larger. They do not need repetitions in the U or V axis unless you wish to give them additional definition for some special reason. Please keep in mind that these dead tree branches are relatively low-polygon so that many of them can be used in a scene. These are not necessarily suitable for close-up views.
