EasyPose Underground 1.2.3 copyright 2002-2003 Ajax (ajaxsoyyo@yahoo.com) Requires: A 32 bit version of Microsoft Windows (ie win 95 or better), Poser 4.03 (Patch must be installed) Files in this zip: license.txt ReadMe_EPunderground.txt EasyPose Underground.msi InstMsiA.exe InstMsiW.exe setup.exe setup.ini To install: (note on updating older versions: In general, I recommend uninstalling previous versions of EasyPose Underground before installing new ones. However, if you are updating an older version you can install over the top of your older version without uninstalling it first, as long as you remember to select the same directory you installed to last time. Your previous version may have been installed to Program Files\EasyPose whereas this version defaults to Program Files\EPUnder. Whether or not you uninstall your previous version, you can retain your user preferences by installing to the same directory you used last time.) 1. Extract all files in this zip to a temporary directory (you'll be able to delete them after installation) 2. Double click on setup.exe in your temporary directory 3. Follow the onscreen instructions. If you get a warning message about the installer being unable to update a certain file, you can safely ignore it. The installation should still be successful. 4. You'll find the EasyPose Underground shortcut in your Start Menu. It should be just above the bar above the word "Programs". Use your mouse to drag the shortcut to wherever you prefer it to be located. 5. You may now delete all of the files you extracted in step 1 if you wish. To uninstall EasyPose Underground at any stage, run the setup program again and select the appropriate options. The help button (the button marked "?") will open the help files with complete instructions on how to use EasyPose Underground. Version History: Version 1.2.3 (August 2003) The Geometry Switching Tool was added. The Step value was added to the ERC relationships frame on the ERC and Dial Management control panel, allowing faster and easier creation of finger spreading or tail feather spreading style dials. The program now checks to see if you have changes in your cr2 and will prompt you to save them if you try to open another cr2. Also, on exit you will only be asked to confirm the exit if you have unsaved changes. A problem with number formatting within the cr2 which occurred when the user's computer was set to use certain European style numeric formats was corrected. A problem which sometimes prevented dials without slaves from being deleted if "Free slaves on delete" was selected was corrected. A problem which caused internal file paths to be modified under certain circumstances was corrected. This problem only showed up in cases where the cr2 was in an unusual format (usually as a result of re-saving a P5 cr2 in P4) and the user attempted to re-set the figure number to 1. Version 1.0.2 (October 2002) This version was created to address problems opening cr2s created in Poser 5. Version 1.0.1 (October 2002) First public version. I seriously considered using a serial number system to protect this program but decided against it for the convenience of my customers and because the time needed to implement it would have pushed the price up further. Please remember that programs like this take an enourmous amount of effort to create and really don't sell very well. Over the lifetime of this product, I'll be very lucky if my returns ever get as high as 25 cents per hour. I really do not want to see this product distributed illegally. If you know someone that wants a copy, tell them to buy one or buy it for them yourself. Have fun using the program and as always, if you run into any trouble with it, don't hesitate to contact me for support (ajaxsoyyo@yahoo.com). Ajax August 16, 2003
