LockMaster is a brand new way of automating the locking of figure parts.

Traditionally, Poser makes it hard to lock body parts because we can only do it on a single part at a time, hunting for the command in the menus. So if you want to lock an entire hand, you have to repeat the process 16 times, which is tedious and tiresome. Not only that, but we cannot visually identify what parts have been locked or not just by looking at them.

LockMaster automates this process with a single button click to lock or unlock entire parts of any figure, like an entire arm, just the hand, just the fingers, legs, or anything you want. It also changes the preview mode on the selection, so you can clearly visualize what is locked and what is not directly from the viewport. 

The general idea is to LEFT-click to execute, and RIGHT-click to undo it when locking or toggling visibility. You can use either mouse buttons for Reset or Zero pose - those cannot be undone.

Operation modes include:

* Lock: Lock/unlock selected body parts.
* Reset: Reset rotations, translations, scale and morphs from the selected parts.
* Zero Pose: Same as reset, but only affects rotations (poses).
* Visibility Toggle: Toggles visibility on the selected parts.

**NOTE: This tool was designed to work with Figures, and has no effect on props.

In order to work you will have to own Poser 12.0.394 or above. It will not work with older versions. In Poser, click Help > About Poser to see what version you have installed. The version is displayed on the bottom left corner.

Installation Instructions:

You can install this Python script in 2 different ways (requires Poser 12.0.396 or newer):

1. If you have the ZIP file: from Poser's main menu, choose File > Install from ZIP archive.
2. From Poser's built-in store: From the library's "Purchase" tab, click the "Renderosity" option. Now locate your purchased Python script tool, and click the respective "Install" button.

Once the script is installed, you will find it in Poser's main menu, from the Scripts menu.

Usage Tips:

To use properly, follow these simple steps:

1) Load a Poser figure.
2) Select the body part you want to operate on.
3) From LockMaster, select the action you want to perform from the "Action Mode" section (Lock, Reset, Zero Pose, or Toggle Visivility),
4) From the "Taget Selection" section, click the appropriate button to affect the desired parts.

Left-click applies the operation, and Right-click removes the action, except for Reset and Zero Pose, where either mouse buttons do the same thing (don't have an undo).

If the figure has Unimesh Skinning applied, whether or not it is subdivided, LockMaster will ask you if you want to temporarely switch to Traditional Skinning, since Unimesh Skinning does not allow visual cues. When you exit the tool, the figure will automatically convert back to Unimesh Skinning. Please read the included manual for more details, tips, and best practices.
