Secret Kitten is a Python script for Poser 12 that represents the very first video game ever made for Poser. You can play it while waiting for a long background render, or just for the fun of it. It's an adaptation of "Hangman", where you have to find out what the secret word is by guessing its letters. For each secret word, you are given a specific number of tries, which varies depending on the size of the word. If you win, you get a new kitten image. 

These are some of the main features:

* A vocabulary of 1,600 words that never repeat in the same session.
* A collection of 400 kittens that never repeat in the same session.
* The game is randomized every time for maximized uniqueness.
* Your score is preserved between sessions. 
* Automated vowels insertion (optional).
* Keeps track of letters you have already tried.
* Keeps track of your winning streaks (consecutive wins).
* Shows how many tries you have left (numerically and progress bar).
* Status box shows useful info and instructions during game play.
* See a new cute kitten every time you win! :D
* Game panel persists when switching Poser Rooms.
* All controls have informative tooltips describing what it does.
* Native dockable Poser panel with Dark Theme.
* Built-in PDF manual.

In order to work you must own Poser 12.0.1029 or above. It may not work with older versions. In Poser, click Help > About Poser to see what version you have installed. The version is displayed on the bottom left corner.

Installation Instructions:

You can install this Python script in 2 different ways (requires Poser 12.0.1029 or newer):

1. If you have the ZIP file: from Poser's main menu, choose File > Install from ZIP archive.
2. From Poser's built-in store: From the library's "Purchase" tab, click the "Renderosity" option. Now locate your purchased Python script tool, and click the respective "Install" button.

Once the script is installed, it will show it in Poser's main menu, from the Scripts menu.

Usage Tips:

* In this kind of game, it is common practice to try the 5 vowels first. You can press the UP key to try them all, saving you the time and effort to do it manually 5 times. 

* Your game stats are shown at the top, and they are persistent across different sessions. If desired, you can reset them back to zero at any time by double-clicking them. All stats will be zeroes, and this cannot be undone, so use with caution.

* If you couldn't figure the secret word and run out of tries, it will NOT be revealed afterwards. If you want to know what it was, you have to win the game fair and square. With a vocabulary of 1,600 words, who knows when it will show again? That's part of the game.

* Every time you launch the game, the kitten picture is blank. You must win a match to show a new kitten.

* Every control in the game has informative tooltips to help you know what they do. 

* The Secret Kitten tool is a native Poser panel, and can be freely resized, positioned, and even docked into the Poser interface. It will remember it's last position, size, and docking state next time you launch it.

* You can open the PDF manual at any time by clicking the Help button from the Secret Kitten interface.
