It has a subterranean trunk rarely seen above ground. Fossil records show this is a very old plant, probably predating all other palms. Endemic to the east side of Brazil, it has since spread to many tropical and sub-tropical beaches. Grows in sandy soils, particularly beach-side, in tropical and sub-tropical regions. There are 16 models in this set: 5x Standard. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes. 5x Health. Thriving, distress, unhealthy, dying, and dead. 6x Maturity.
