These are materials for an existing product, therefore in order to use them you will need the Sci-fi Hover Car item that you can find in my store. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- System requirements Daz Studio 4 with Iray ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any computer capable of running DAZ Stuido 4 or newer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will need the Sci-fi Hover Car item that you can find in my store. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation instructions ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unzip to your favorite Working DS Library, choosing to overwrite existing, which will merely let the unzip program acknowledge your Documentation and runtime folders. No data will be lost. After you install these new materials and decals, you will find them in the following location: Props\3dexgraphics\Sci-fi Hover Car\Materials\Police Decals When you open Daz Studio, navigate to the Sci-fi Hover Car item. There you will find a new folder named Police Decals. First, select the hover car in the scene tab. Then, select the main material in the surfaces tab. Now you can click on a material or a decal in the content library tab to apply it. There are 2 kinds of materials in the folder: - materials, which include 3 new police materials: Police-Black, Police-Blue and Police-Dark-Blue - decals, which are of 2 kinds: 1. the main decals, containing the "Decals" name 2. unit numbers decals, of which there is only one You can use these 2 kinds of decals separately of each other. The first time you apply a decal, you just double click on an image in the content library, but be sure to first select the vehicle item in the scene tab. After you applied a decal and you want to change it to another one, you will have to first double click on the "Remove Decals" thumbnail in the content library. Example: you already applied a decal to the vehicle. You want to change it. Select the item in the scene tab, double click on the "Remove Decals" image in the content tab. That will remove the existing decal. Now you can double click on another decal to apply it. Please be sure to first select the item in the scene tab, otherwise it will not apply it. I repeat this because it's an easy and common mistake to make.
