Thank you for purchasing Rei-no-Habuate for Genesis 8/8.1 Female, and Genesis 9.

What's Included:

Rei-no-Habutae is a dynamic outfit for Genesis 8/8.1 Female, and Genesis 9.

It includes a long, fitted cheongsam, a flowing qipao shrug and 05 styles for each piece in Iray ONLY.
Several adjustment morphs are also included.

Feel free to copy them into your project folder for your own add ons, but please DO NOT remove my logo!

Render tip:
Blurry textures when rendering?
Go to Render Settings > Advanced (or Optimization for 4.24+), and increase the Medium Threshold to 4096, and the High Threshold to 6144 (or higher depending on preference).

DFORCE USAGE TIPS
------------------------------

For best results with dForce Clothing:

On frame 0, load G8, select G8 in the scene tab, and load your clothing item. In the timeline, change the total number of frames from 31 to 91 (This is not mandatory but will result in a much better drape). Go to frame 20, and apply any morphs, shapes, and pose to G8 you wish to use. In the Simulation settings, turn Start Bones from Memorized Pose OFF, and chose Animated (Use Timeline Play Range) in Frames to Simulate.

When using heavier shapes, or poses, that have limbs close to the body and poking into the cloth, be sure to move them away from the body, at the frame in which you posed your figure, before simulating to prevent cloth deformation during sim. This is a common issue with dForce, and a simple pose adjustment is often all you need.

When simulating hair with dForce, hide the clothing in the scene (any clothing) to prevent dForce hair from intersecting in the clothes.


Optional tips:

Experiencing poke through between cloth layers of the same outfit?
Try increasing the "Collision Iterations (Per Subframe)" in the Simulations Settings > Collision section.
Higher values can improve self-collision, but are not required for most items.
(Note: I currently set my Collision Iterations to 6)

For smoother folds in final renders:
Increase Render SubD Level (Minimum) in the clothing item's Parametres Tab.
(Note: I currently set my Render SubD Level (Minimum) to 3.

Increase Smoothing Iterations in the clothing item's Parametres tab.
(Note: I currently set my Smoothing Iterations to 3)


To reset your simulation, right click on the "Simulation Settings" Tab and "Clear Simulation Data".

These are suggestions only. You can adjust these settings depending on your needs, and desired results.

Unzip this archive to your location of choice - HOWEVER Runtime\Textures . . . folder MUST NOT be altered.
