If any adjustment morphs are applied after simulation, they MUST be applied at the figure's POSE frame. For example: In the Dynamic usage tips, below, La Femme 2 is posed at frame 30, and the simulation runs to frame 70. Any adjustments added once the simulation is complete MUST be applied at frame 30. For final renders, increase the Subdivision Levels in the clothing item's Properties tab; higher than 0, and no greater than 2. ----- Please note: Not all shapes and poses may be supported! Texture artists: Displacement map(s), grey map(s), and/or normal map(s) are included in the UVTemplate zip. Feel free to copy them into your project folder for your own add ons, but please DO NOT remove my logo! I hope that you enjoy this package. ~Wolfie~ ------------------------------ DYNAMIC USAGE TIPS ------------------------------ DYNAMIC KNOWLEDGE RECOMMENDED Dynamic have been pre set up, but feel free to use your own settings. The following settings are a GUIDE ONLY. After loading La Femme 2 into your scene: 1) Load the Shorts in Frame 01. 2) Move to Frame 30 and pose La Femme 2. (NOTE: NOT ALL SHAPES AND POSES MAY BE SUPPORTED!) 3) Slide the slider back to Frame 01 making sure limbs do not pass through her body, or each other. If they do. Start again. If not, continue. 4) Change the Frame end count to 40 (NOTE: High values may result in over draping! So experiment with this to find the right setting for your needs). 5) Go to the Cloth Room. 6) Chose New Sim, and name it something easy to remember; such as Shorts. 7) Under New Sim leave all settings at their default, but change the END FRAME to 40 (or the value you set it step 4), and ENABLE Cloth Self Collision. 8) Select the clothing item. 9) Under Cloth Objects, click Clothify. 10) Next, choose Collide Against 11) Click the Add/Remove button, and check the full La Femme 2 figure from the tree, but UNCHECK Staycation Sweater, for the Shorts only (listed under La Femme's Chest) and use the following settings: - Collision Offset: 0.3 (0.6 for the Sweater) - Static Friction: 0.5 - Collision Depth: 0.3 (0.6 for the Sweater) - Dynamic Friction: 0.1 - Figure Collision options: All checked; but UNCHECK Hands for the Sweater. REPEAT the above steps for the Sweater using the Sweater settings mentioned. 12) Lastly, Click > Animations > Recalculate Dynamics > All Cloth from the Poser top menu and allow the simulation to complete. NOTE: If you experience sweater distortion in the hip/armpit area, simply adjust the legs/arms in order to allow the sweater to properly drape without bunching. ** For more dramatic fabric folds, lower (or raise) the Fold Resistance, and Shear Resistance. (Promos for this product had a Fold Resistance of 1 and a Shear Resistance of 30.0) NOTE: Create a Constrained Dynamic Group if your chosen pose causes material zones to drape more than you'd like. To create a Dynamic group, follow these steps: 1) Once you finish the above steps, click on "New Dynamic Group" and give your group a name, ie: Waist, and click ok. 2) Click Edit Constrained Group. 3) In the window that pops up, click on Add, then Material, and chose the Waist. 4) Finally, click Calculate Simulation for each item once again, beginning with the lower most cloth item. (You can even give this new Dynamic Group it's own Dynamic Controls settings!) Be aware that using Constrained Groups may cause "bunching" depending on the pose and shape you use. For final renders, increase the Subdivision Levels in the clothing item's Properties tab; higher than 0, but less than 2. These are suggestions only. You can adjust these settings depending on your needs, and desired results. I am no where near a Poser Dynamics expert. You might find, or have, better settings. So experiment and see what you come up with.
