It lists real light nodes AND mesh emitters (emissive surfaces), and lets you list, batch-edit, group, and preset all of your lighting from one dockable pane. It has three tabs - Lights, Groups, and Presets - fills itself from the current scene, and updates live as you work. Every change goes through the DAZ undo stack (Edit > Undo, or Ctrl+Z). ------------------------------------------------------------ 1. THE LAYOUT ------------------------------------------------------------ - Three tabs along the top: Lights / Groups / Presets. - The pane reads the scene automatically and stays in sync both ways: edit a light in the standard Parameters pane and the list/editor update instantly, and vice-versa. - Columns can be resized by dragging their edges; hover a header or a long name to see the full text. ------------------------------------------------------------ 2. THE LIGHTS TAB ------------------------------------------------------------ - Filter bar (top): a search box plus a Group filter and a Type filter. - The light list with these columns: V - Visible in the viewport (toggle box). R - Visible in the final Render (toggle box). Name - the light or emitter name (with a group-colour marker). Type - Point, Spot, Distant, Emitter, ... Group - the group it belongs to (with its colour). Temp (K) - colour temperature in Kelvin. Intensity - the light's Intensity (%). For mesh emitters whose Luminance Units are Watts, this column shows the editable Luminous Efficacy as "lm/W" instead, so it reads differently from a plain intensity value. Luminance - Luminous Flux (lumens) for lights, Luminance for emitters. Color - a colour swatch. - Click any V / R box to toggle that one light's viewport / render visibility. - Click a row to select it; the matching node is selected in the scene too. Ctrl-click / Shift-click for multi-selection. - The Up / Down arrow buttons (next to the Selected buttons) move the selected light up or down in the list. - Four "Selected" buttons turn the currently selected lights ON or OFF for Render or Viewport in one click. - Right-click a row (or selection) for: Assign to Group / Remove from Group - including "New Group...". Save as Preset... - save the selection as a preset. Load Preset - apply a saved preset to it. ------------------------------------------------------------ 3. EDITING LIGHTS (bottom panel) ------------------------------------------------------------ Select one or more lights and the editor shows ONLY the parameters those lights actually have, so it stays relevant whether you picked a spotlight, a distant light or a mesh emitter: - Intensity (%) - lights. - Luminous Flux / Luminance - lights / emitters. - Luminance Units + Luminous Efficacy- emitters (Efficacy shown in Watts mode). - Temperature (K) - with a live warm-to-cool colour gradient and a swatch of the current Kelvin. - Color. - Shadow Type. - Light Geometry - Point / Rectangle / Disc / Sphere / Cylinder. - Height / Width - area lights (when Geometry is not Point). - Two Sided - area lights (when Geometry is not Point). - Spread Angle / Beam Exponent - spotlights. Edits apply live to the WHOLE selection. When the selected lights disagree on a value, the control shows "Mixed" rather than overwriting them. ------------------------------------------------------------ 4. THE GROUPS TAB ------------------------------------------------------------ Organize your lights into named, colour-coded groups. Each row shows the group's colour and a count of how many lights of each type it contains (e.g. Point 1, Spot 2). - New Group / Rename / Color... / Delete. - Up / Down arrows reorder the groups; the order is saved with the scene. - Add lights to a group by right-clicking them in the Lights tab ("Assign to Group"). Selected Group actions (act on the whole group at once): - Group ON / OFF (Render) - render visibility for every light in the group. - Group ON / OFF (Visible) - viewport visibility for every light in the group. - Master Intensity - multiply the brightness of the whole group; drag the slider or type a multiplier, then Apply. - Master Temp - set one common colour temperature for the group; drag or type the Kelvin value, then Apply. Groups, their colours, their membership and their order are stored INSIDE the .duf scene file - reopen the scene and your groups are exactly as you left them. ------------------------------------------------------------ 5. THE PRESETS TAB ------------------------------------------------------------ Save complete lighting setups and re-apply them later. - Save Selected: stores the currently selected lights as a preset. You choose which channels to capture (Brightness, Temperature, Colour, Geometry, Shadow, Visibility). - Apply: applies the chosen preset to the selected scene lights. Lights are matched by identity first, then by name, then by type, so a preset still lands sensibly after renames. - Edit in place: pick a preset and change its stored values directly in the editor panel below. - Rename / Delete, and Up / Down arrows to reorder. - Export All / Import: share your entire preset library as a single .json file (importing merges, never overwrites - duplicate names are auto-renamed). - Search box and Type filter to find presets quickly. Each preset row summarizes the setup (Name, Type, Temp, Intensity, Luminance, and a colour strip). Lighting presets are GLOBAL and saved to: Documents\DAZ 3D\IrayLightManagerPro\presets.json so they are available in every scene, independent of any single .duf file. ------------------------------------------------------------ 6. LIVE SYNC & UNDO ------------------------------------------------------------ - Two-way live sync: changes made in the standard Parameters pane are reflected here immediately, and edits made here show up there too. - Everything is undoable. A single edit or a whole batch edit is one undo step (Edit > Undo, or Ctrl+Z). ------------------------------------------------------------ 7. PER-SCENE MEMORY ------------------------------------------------------------ Light groups - their names, colours, membership and custom order - are saved INSIDE the .duf scene file. Reopen the scene and everything is restored. (Lighting presets are global, stored in presets.json, so they follow you across all of your scenes.) ------------------------------------------------------------ Ownership Statement: ------------------------------------------------------------ All of the content in this package was created by AuraVix_Studio, and may include derivatives of the following merchant resources: -Resources on file with Renderosity ------------------------------------------------------------ Information about Usage Rights: ------------------------------------------------------------ This Product is NOT a Merchant Resource The content of this package may NOT be redistributed, sold, or copied in ANY way except for personal archives.
