DC Texture Transformer 2 M4 Bundle Readme Texture Transformer ADD-ON for Michael 4 to Genesis 1, Genesis 2 Male, Genesis 3 Male, Genesis 8 Male, Genesis 8.1 Male, Genesis 9 Male, L’Homme 1, and L’Homme 2 The files within this zip are for 'Add-On' figure support for the existing Texture Transformer which is now a part of the Blacksmith3D Version 8 Pro Version which an be downloaded for free at the following link: https://www.posersoftware.com/blacksmith3d The following texture transformers are included in this bundle: M4 to Genesis 1 M4 to Genesis 2 Male M4 to Genesis 3 Male M4 to Genesis 8 Male M4 to Genesis 8.1 Male M4 to Genesis 9 Male M4 to L’Homme 1 M4 to L'Homme 2 Every effort has been made to provide clean texture transfers for all body parts in addition to skin. Note that differences in mouth geometry between figures may result in mouth parts not being transferred properly between characters. Otherwise, results on all other parts transfer pretty cleanly, depending on the source textures that are being transferred. KNOWN ISSUES ------------------- When testing these packs, the high resolution Michael 4 Skin Maps (High Res) by DAZ 3D (https://www.daz3d.com/michael-4-skin-maps-high-res) were used to transfer textures to other characters. This was considered the best possible source for transferring. Results are varied when transferring texttures created by others. To demonstrate the quality of the texture transfers, Alphatron 2.0 by shaft73 (https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/100275/alphatron-20) was transferred from Michael 4 to all the above-listed figures, so that you can compare the original texture to the transferred textures across all body parts. Diffuse Color only was transferred for the promos, but results will be similar for all other texture maps (bump, normal, etc).. Even with the best texture resources, the following issues are known: V4 to all: * Inner Eye area on Michael 4 is very thin (only a couple of rows of polygons). Touchup will definitely be needed in this area. * The small individual lashes were difficult to overlay onto other characters. Lashes will be "crinkly" and I recommend you create your own transparency maps for lashes, or use a merchant resource. * M4 Brow material is not included, because most other figures do not have separate brow geometry. M4 to G1M: Genesis 1 Female does not have an eye surface material. None will be generated. M4 to G2M: Everything transfers OK. M4 to G3M: Due to differences in mouth geometry between M4 and G3M only teeth and gums are generated. Inner mouth area will be empty. M4 to G8M: Due to differences in mouth geometry between M4 and G8M only teeth and gums are generated. Inner mouth area will be empty Eye surface and tears may need touchup. M4 to G82.1M: Due to differences in mouth geometry between M4 and G8.1M only teeth and gums are generated. Inner mouth area will be empty Eye surface and tears may need touchup. INSTALLING: After unzipping the files, place the ttpack files in the Blacksmith3D-v8 > TextureTransformerData folder.
