Careful of hands on hips during simulation. - dforce Simulation: • BEFSIM Dress morphs: The most important thing to remember is to select an appropriate pose and apply a correct surface preset. !! It is very important to Restore the clothing between each morph injection. A selection of morphs may not be compatible with all bodies/body poses and/or extremely large breasts. I suggest you apply the "Easy to See" MAT Preset to adjust. The pose and breasts determine how much the dress will fall. • DNS morphs DO NOT SIMULATE!: dforce OFF is included to be able to simulate the dress with other dforce items in the scene without altering the injected DNS morphs. !! It is very important to Restore the clothing in between each morph injection. • On Floor Do not simulate: Clear Selection Bring in clothing Inject morph into clothing *To move use Trans dials *You can parent the clothing to Figure/prop if you want it to move together. Select Figure/prop and use the trans dials. DNS Hang can be simulated. Apply a suiting pose. Position the dress. Make sure the top of the dress is in the hand. Parent it to the hand. Surface Preset Free. SIMULATE! .~. • Surface Presets All: Be sure to select the correct figure when applying the Surface Preset. Surface Presets were estimated based on the best results after testing/simulating a large variety of body poses with the morphs injected but they still may not suit all poses nor figures and/or need adjustments. Experiment! PARTIAL is very useful to alter the applied main surface preset. Always clear simulation in between simulations. If a problem should occur delete the clothing and bring it in anew. .~. • Dynamic Morphs All: Most Dynamic adjustments to the clothing should be done after simulation unless otherwise specified. See parameters for guidance. All dynamic morphs may not be compatible amongst themselves. Use dynamic morphs as required and not necessarily at their maximum/minimum value unless specified. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -Sleeves: Always select each sleeve to apply Iray & Surface presets • BEFSIM Sleeve morphs: these are not the same for L & R. Apply each one as specified. Which morph to use is determined by the body pose i.e. arms up attached to the body will usually require the sleeve up or squish morph and equivalent surface presets. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ • Body to body poke thru/Poke thru: Gradually dial up the push modifier Mesh Offset or adjust with dynamic morphs. Offset must be manually restored before another simulation. The Push Modifier is activated at Dress 0.080-Sleeves 0.020 (Parameters/Mesh Offset/Push Modifier) If needed dial +/- very gradually. How the clothing falls depends greatly on the body, the body pose and in most cases the breast size. dforce mimics reality so keep this in mind when posing. ~.~ FYI Newbies: You can view large images of each library preset by going to Edit - Preferences - Content Library - Check Show File Info Tool Tips - Accept.
