## PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Content Organizer PRO is a library organization utility for DAZ Studio.

It allows you to create your own personal catalog of frequently used assets from the Content Library and Smart Content. Saved items can be organized into custom categories and subcategories for quick access.

Content Organizer PRO uses a split database structure. The main structure is stored separately from the individual subcategory databases, and only the currently selected subcategory is loaded. This helps avoid loading the entire collection at once and is designed to keep navigation responsive as the collection grows.

* Create, rename, delete and reorder categories.
* Create, rename, delete and reorder subcategories.
* Move subcategories between categories.
* Add one or multiple selected DAZ Studio assets.
* Add assets from Content Library or Smart Content.
* Display asset thumbnails and larger hover previews.
* Assign custom thumbnail images.
* Edit saved item labels.
* Add personal notes.
* Display stored paths and item information.
* Navigate back to saved assets in Content Library.
* Import compatible legacy Pins databases.
* Reset the organizer database without deleting installed DAZ content.
* Optional navigation logging.
* Optional helper script for adding Content Organizer PRO to the existing DAZ Studio Favorites menu.

## SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

DAZ Studio 4.x

Tested with DAZ Studio 4.24.0.3 on Windows.

No additional Renderosity or DAZ products are required.

The DAZ Studio Content Library folder where the script is installed must be writable because Content Organizer PRO creates and updates its database files in the same folder as the script.

## INSTALLATION

Install the product into a DAZ Studio Content Library that is mapped in DAZ Studio.

After installation, the main script should be located at:

Scripts\KoKoS_TeBe_V_NoS\Content Organizer PRO\Content_Organizer_PRO.dsa

In DAZ Studio, browse to:

DAZ Studio Formats

> Your Content Library
> Scripts
> KoKoS_TeBe_V_NoS
> Content Organizer PRO

Run:

Content_Organizer_PRO.dsa

Optional:

Run Add_Content_Organizer_PRO_to_Favorites.dsa once to add Content Organizer PRO to the existing DAZ Studio Favorites menu.

On first launch, Content Organizer PRO creates its database files automatically.

## BASIC USE

1. Open Content Organizer PRO.
2. Create or select a category and subcategory.
3. Select one or more assets in Content Library or Smart Content.
4. Click Add Selected.
5. The selected assets will be saved in the current subcategory.
6. Click a saved item's thumbnail or name to navigate back to its location in Content Library.

Item controls:

Edit - Change the saved item label.
Set Image - Select a custom thumbnail image.
Delete - Remove the saved item from Content Organizer PRO.
Path - Show the stored asset path.
n - Add or edit notes.
i - Show saved item information.

## LEGACY DATABASE IMPORT

Content Organizer PRO can import a compatible legacy Pins database.

Select:

Import Legacy Pins Database...

and choose the legacy CFG or JSON file.

IMPORTANT:

Importing a legacy database replaces the current category structure. Back up your current database before importing if you want to preserve it.

## DATABASE AND BACKUP

Content Organizer PRO creates its database next to the main script.

Generated files may include:

structure.json
categories\
ContentOrganizer.ini
ContentOrganizer.log

The categories folder contains separate JSON database files for individual subcategories.

To back up your organizer collection, close Content Organizer PRO and make a copy of these generated files and folders.

## RESET DATABASE

Reset Database removes saved categories, subcategories and pins and creates a fresh database.

Reset Database does not delete installed DAZ Studio content.

## IMPORTANT NOTES

Content Organizer PRO does not replace DAZ Studio Content Library or Smart Content. It stores references to assets for personal organization and faster navigation.

If an installed asset is moved, renamed or removed, a saved reference may no longer navigate correctly.

Custom thumbnail images are referenced by their file paths. If a custom image is moved or deleted, the thumbnail may no longer be displayed.
