PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
-------------------

Content Library Navigator is a DAZ Studio utility for quickly opening frequently
used folders in the Content Library.

The script provides shortcut buttons for Genesis 3, Genesis 8 and Genesis 9
clothing, poses and props in two configured content locations:

- My Library
- My DAZ 3D Library

The script opens the Content Library pane, navigates through the required library
root and refreshes the pane after navigation. This makes it possible to reach
frequently used folders without manually expanding the Content Library tree.

SUBFOLDER SEARCH
----------------

Select a category button first, then click Find Subfolder Name.

Type a folder name or search mask in the search field. The search uses prefix
matching and ignores letter case, spaces, underscores and hyphens when comparing
folder names.

Supported search characters are English letters, numbers, spaces, underscores,
hyphens, * and ?.

The first matching folder is opened automatically. The status line displays the
number of matching folders. Click Search Inside to make the opened folder the new
search root and continue searching through its subfolders.

INSTALLATION
------------

Copy Content Library Navigator.dsb to a location from which it can be run in DAZ Studio, or run the
script directly from the file system.

The script expects the following Content Library directory order:

- Content directory index 0: My Library
- Content directory index 1: My DAZ 3D Library

Make sure both directories are mapped in DAZ Studio and that the predefined folders
exist in the expected locations.

CONTENT DIRECTORY SETTINGS
--------------------------

Before running the script, verify that the paths used by the Content Library and
Smart Content Library point directly to the actual content folders on disk. Do not
use symbolic links, junctions or other redirected paths. A redirected path may prevent DAZ
Studio from resolving the real file locations correctly and can cause the script
or the program to malfunction.

The menu path depends on the DAZ Studio version installed on your computer. Use
only the instructions for your version.

DAZ STUDIO 6.x

Edit > Preferences > Content > Content Directory Manager...

DAZ STUDIO 4.x
--------------

Full menu path:

Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager

After opening Content Directory Manager in either version:

1. Expand DAZ Studio Formats and verify the mapped content folder.
2. If Poser-format content is used, verify the same content root under Poser Formats.
3. Make sure the path points directly to the real folder, for example D:\My Library.
4. Click Accept and restart DAZ Studio.

Use only the full menu path for the DAZ Studio version installed on your computer.
Do not use both paths at the same time.

BASIC USE
---------

1. Run Content Library Navigator.dsb in DAZ Studio.
2. Select a shortcut in the Content Library Navigator window.
3. The selected folder opens in the Content Library pane.
4. To search inside the selected category, click Find Subfolder Name.
5. Enter a folder name or search mask.
6. Use Search Inside to continue the search inside the current folder.

IMPORTANT NOTES
---------------

The script navigates only to the predefined folders listed in this document.
It does not search files and it does not modify assets, presets or folder contents.

Navigation requires the Content Library pane to be available and the configured
Content Library roots to be correctly mapped in DAZ Studio.

The My DAZ 3D Library path is obtained dynamically from DAZ Studio, but the script
uses the second Content Library directory for this location.
