************************************************************ *Product Name: EVERYPlant Cooksonia Pertonia *Copyright: Tony Meszaros (EVERYPlant) September 2026 Please Contact EVERYPlant via Renderosity Site Mail ************************************************************ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Product description ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Cooksonia Pertoni Period: Early Silurian to Mid Silurian. 433 to 393 million years ago, This Variation: This version is for use with Poser, versions for DazStudio and Vue also available. Notes: This species is the oldest known plant to have a stem with vascular tissue and is thus a transitional form between the primitive non-vascular bryophytes and the vascular plants. While fossils are distributed globally, most type specimens come from Britain, where they were first discovered in 1937. The plants lacked leaves, flowers and roots, although it has been speculated that they grew from a rhizome that has not been preserved. The simple stalks branched dichotomously a few times and each branch ended in a sporangium or spore-bearing capsule. Included in this Package: 18 models in total 1. Standard 1. Okay, maybe not EVERY plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload. Thank you for purchasing this product. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- System requirements ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PC and Mac compatible ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Necessary Files ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a stand alone item, complete unto itself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation instructions ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unzip file to you Poser library of choice. The models will appear as Props. Also present are all the material presets used in all models. This will allow you to load a different material overwriting the default. For example, you may load a "Dread Tree" model, select one of the dead foliage materials in the material editor and overwrite it with and autumn material. Please note that this is an example and this product may not include a "Dead Tree" model or "Autumn" material; the principle is the same though for any model or material. You can even load materials from a different EVERYPlant product to see what concoction you can come up with! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
