Pose Combinator PRO Copyright 2026 KoKoS_TeBe_V_NoS Vendor: KoKoS_TeBe_V_NoS Version: 0.1.85 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION ------------------- Are you tired of spending hours searching for the perfect pose? No problem. Build the pose you need from different poses and finally create your own personal Frankenstein. Pose Combinator PRO is a DAZ Studio utility for combining pose presets and applying the required parts of a pose to a selected Genesis figure. Select a pose from the Content Library, select a figure in the scene, choose the required body region and apply the result. The selected scene figure determines the target Genesis generation and the male or female character preview. The pose is converted to the selected target figure instead of being tied to the figure shown in the pose thumbnail. The tool is designed for Genesis 3 to Genesis 9 pose workflows. The current conversion maps cover Genesis 3, Genesis 8, Genesis 8.1 and Genesis 9 rigs. The interface keeps the workflow focused: select a pose, select a scene figure, choose Full Figure or a partial body scope, select the required transforms and click Apply Pose. The scope buttons only select the body range and do not apply the pose by themselves. After selecting Full Figure, Selected Bone & Children, Selected Bone & Above or Selected Bone & Below, always click Apply Pose to apply the selected range. The pose preview, target figure name and selected scope remain visible while working. The script changes pose transforms on the selected figure only. It does not modify materials, morphs, expressions, clothing or geometry. The script supports: - Genesis 3, Genesis 8, Genesis 8.1 and Genesis 9 pose workflows. - Pose selection from the DAZ Studio Content Library or Smart Content. - Automatic target figure detection from the current scene selection. - Male and female target character preview based on the selected scene figure. - Cross-generation pose channel conversion. - Full figure pose application. - Partial pose application by selected bone and connected body regions. - Enable Rotation, figure translation and hip translation channels. - Pose preview and pose-to-character information display. - Collapsible figure preview panel with an arrow toggle to reduce the window width. - Separate button groups for pose scope and transform controls. - Select All and Clear All controls for body-point selection. - Context help buttons for rotation and translation options. - DAZ Studio Undo support for applied poses. - Clear Pose and Figure command for restarting the workflow. - No additional products required. BUTTONS AND CONTROLS -------------------- Select All selects every body point and changes the selection to the full figure. Clear All removes the current body-point selection. After clearing the points, select a body point or use Full Figure before applying a pose. The question-mark buttons next to Enable Rotation, Figure Translation and Hip Translation open a short explanation of the corresponding option. The arrow next to the figure preview collapses or restores the preview panel and reduces or restores the window width. Apply Pose applies the selected pose and range. Undo reverses the latest successful operation. Reset Full Pose or Reset Selected Part returns the applied pose or selected range to its neutral state. Clear Pose and Figure clears the current pose and figure selection. POSE SCOPE MODES ----------------- Selected Bone & Children Selects the selected bone and its child bones as the application range. This mode is intended for working with a selected limb or another bone with a clear child hierarchy. Click Apply Pose to apply the selected range. Selected Bone & Above Selects the selected bone and the connected bones above it toward the upper body and head. The body preview marks the points that will be included. Click Apply Pose to apply the selected range. Selected Bone & Below Selects the selected bone and the connected bones below it toward the pelvis and legs. The body preview marks the points that will be included. Click Apply Pose to apply the selected range. Full Figure Selects the complete figure as the application range. Full Figure does not depend on the selected body points and ignores any previous point selection. Click Apply Pose to apply all available pose channels to the selected target figure. BASIC USE --------- 1. Open Pose Combinator PRO. 2. Select one pose preset in the DAZ Studio Content Library or Smart Content pane. 3. Select the target Genesis figure in the scene. A selected bone can also be used for partial pose work; the parent figure becomes the target. 4. Select Full Figure or select a body point in the figure preview. 5. Use the button below the figure preview when needed: Select All selects all points and switches the application range to the full figure. Clear All removes the point selection. Select a point or click Select All before applying a pose. 6. Choose one of the available scope modes. The button selects the range only; it does not apply the pose: Selected Bone & Children Selected Bone & Above Selected Bone & Below Full Figure 7. Select the pose transforms to include: Enable Rotation Figure Translation Hip Translation 8. Click Apply Pose to apply the selected full figure or body range. 9. Select another pose and repeat the process to build a combined result. 10. Use Reset Full Pose or Reset Selected Part when an applied pose or selected range must be returned to its neutral pose. 11. Use Undo to reverse the most recent applied action. 12. Use Clear Pose and Figure to reset the current selection. POSE AND FIGURE SELECTION -------------------------- The pose is taken from the currently selected library item. The selected target figure is taken from the DAZ Studio scene and is not inferred from the pose thumbnail. When a bone is selected in the scene, Pose Combinator PRO identifies its parent figure and uses the selected bone for partial pose operations. When no body point is selected, Full Figure remains the direct way to apply the complete pose. The preview uses the selected target figure type, including the appropriate male or female body representation. The label beside the pose preview displays the pose name and the selected Genesis figure. COMBINING POSES --------------- After one part of a pose has been applied, select another pose, choose another body scope and click Apply Pose again on the same target figure. For example, apply the upper body from one pose, then select the legs and apply the legs from a second pose. This makes it possible to build a custom pose from multiple source presets. The conversion is performed before the selected channels are written to the target figure. Source and target generations can therefore be different when a supported rig mapping is available. TRANSFORMS TO INCLUDE --------------------- Enable Rotation Includes bone rotation channels. Figure Translation Includes the figure-level translation channels when they are present in the source pose. Hip Translation Includes hip translation channels when they are present in the source pose. Only the enabled transform categories are written to the selected target figure. UNDO ---- Each successful Apply Pose operation is recorded in the DAZ Studio Undo history. Use Undo to reverse the latest pose application or reset action without clearing the current pose or figure selection. RESETTING POSES --------------- Reset Full Pose becomes available after a full pose has been applied. It restores the selected figure to its neutral pose using the reset data for the detected Genesis generation and character type. Reset Selected Part becomes available after a pose has been applied to a partial body range. Select the required body point and range with the preview and then click Reset Selected Part. Only the currently selected range is reset. Selecting Above or Below does not apply or reset a pose. These buttons only select and highlight the required range. Always click Apply Pose to apply a selected range, or click Reset Selected Part to reset it. IMPORTANT --------- Select exactly one pose preset in the Content Library or Smart Content pane. The selected library item must contain readable pose transform channels. Items that contain only an image, material, morph or other non-pose data cannot be applied as a pose. Select a supported Genesis figure in the scene before applying a pose. Partial modes require a selected body point or bone. Full Figure can be used without a body point and applies all available channels. Only the selected body scope and enabled transform categories are applied. Channels that do not exist on the target figure or cannot be mapped are skipped. The body preview is a visual guide for the selected scope. The actual pose application is performed on the selected figure in the DAZ Studio scene. FIGURE-ONLY POSE PRESETS ------------------------ Use only pose presets that contain transform channels for the figure itself. The selected preset must not contain additional scene elements, including: - Props, such as umbrellas, weapons or furniture. - Smart-parented objects. - Clothing or additional figures. - Materials, morphs or expressions. - Any other non-pose scene content. A library thumbnail may look like a normal pose while the preset also contains props or other scene elements. Such a file is not a figure-only pose preset and must not be used with Pose Combinator PRO. Select a clean figure-only pose preset containing only the transforms required for the Genesis figure. This prevents unrelated scene elements from being mistaken for pose data and keeps the pose combination workflow predictable.
