Roz Hair

Roz Hair is a medium-resolution hair object for Victoria 1-3, or Posette. It is a 1940's long hair style similar to that made popular by Rosalind Russell. It has a low poly count, loads and renders quickly, is easy to use, and is hat-friendly.

Installation

The files are in a zip archive, just point WinZip to your Poser4 directory and extract using folder names. 

Mac users will need to convert the files using Poser Maconverter (just drag the Runtime folder onto MacConverter), then follow the installation instructions or use Poser Macinstaller.

Poser Maconverter and Poser Macinstaller are both available from www.soft-rabbit.com.

Installation Instructions


This file goes into Runtime:Geometries:rwaller:

	RozHair.obj

The texture files should go into Runtime:Textures:rwaller:

	RozHairColorBR.jpg	(default brown color)
	RozHairColorBL.jpg	(blonde color)
	RozHairColorRD.jpg	(red color)
	RozHairTr.jpg		(transparency map)
	RozHairBump.jpg		(bump map)
	
The Hair files can go into Runtime:Libraries:Hair:Roz Hair:
They are preset to fit Vicki 1-3 or Posette.

	RozHairMW.hr2	(Victoria 1-3 version)
	RozHairP4.hr2	(P4 woman version)

The MAT files go into Runtime:Libraries:Poses:MAT Roz Hair:

	Roz Brown.pz2			(default brown)
	Ginger Blonde.pz2		(blonde hair style - uses amb. color, white hilites and bump map)
	Ginger Blonde-P4.pz2 *		(non-Pro Pack version - calls for .bum instead of .jpg)
	Liz Black.pz2		(black hair style - uses color, grey hilites and bump map)
	Liz Black-P4.pz2 *		(non-Pro Pack version - calls for .bum instead of .jpg)
	Rita Red.pz2				(red hair)
	
*Poser4 users will need to locate and convert the RozHairBump.jpg file into a .bum file. The first time you apply the blonde or black style you'll get an error asking "where is RozHairBump.bum?" - find and select RozHairBump.jpg and Poser should convert the file for you. If you have ProPack or Poser5, you can just toss these two files.

.PNG thumbnail files are included as well as .RSR files.

Usage Information

Load the Roz Hair the same as any other hair object.
The defaut brown will load. 
Use the MAT files to select another color.

Morph channels available are, SWAY RIGHT, SWAY LEFT, SWAY FRONT, which all bend the fall, and TOP MESS FLATTEN, which squashes down the stray topcurls. SWAY FRONT is reversible; i.e. you can bend the fall backward by giving it a negative value.
