D=depth H=height W=wide or width U=upper L=lower R=round Lt=Left Rt=Right The following face labeling denotes whether the face works best as female or male or if it could be either. F=Female M=Male FM=Female or Male Full Body Morphs and Morph Controlled Morphs Each body/partial body morph provided with Lit'l uns spans several different body parts, therefore morphs with the same name should be set to equal values (i.e., the Breast morph should be set to the same value on the Left Collar, Right Collar, and Chest). These body morphs are also set up as full body morphs, and are more easily adjusted by selecting Body from the Current Element popup then adjusting the dial for the morph you wish to apply. For convenience control of several morphs on other elements have been added to the head. They are as follows: EyeballIn - controls EyeballIn on the Eyes EyeIris - controls Iris on the Eyes EyePupil - controls PupilDialate on the Eyes EyePupilSlit - controls PupilSlit on the Eyes ThroatFix - controls HeadNeckFix on the Upper Neck Other multi-element morphs controlled by their head morph include CheekJowls, CheekJowls1, CheekJowls2, FaceD, FaceFull, FaceFull1, FaceFull2, HeadBackD, HeadBackW, HeadMidW, HeadLW, HeadScale, JawSquare, JawSquare1, ThroatHeavy and ThroatThin. SmileOpenFix, Smile1Fix, Smile RightFix, Smile LeftFix, and Mouth OFix smooth a few spots on the face. They adjust automatically when using the morph the fix is for. Using Body Type Poses with Lit'l uns and Lit'l uns' Clothes You may simply apply a body type pose from the CDI Lit'l uns PS or PT subcategory of the Poses library to your Lit'l uns' preschooler or preteen. Use the following steps to apply clothing to Lit'l uns: 1. Add a Lit'l uns' preschooler or preteen to your scene from the CDI Lit'l uns subcategory of the Figures library. 2. Add desired Lit'l uns' clothing to your scene from the CDI Lit'l uns Clothes PS or PT subcategory of the Figures library conforming each by selecting FIGURE/CONFORM TO from the menu bar, then choosing the preschool or preteen figure (usually Figure 1) in the resulting dialog. 3. Select the figure (not an item of clothing) and apply a body type pose from the CDI Lit'l uns PS or PT subcategory of the Poses library. If using Poser 5 you will need to apply the pose to the character and each item of clothing. If you prefer a different body type, you may apply it without losing your pose. A few joint parameters were adjusted for visual appeal. Two JP poses have been provided for each figure should you need them. When applied to your figure, JP Restore sets customized joint parameter settings back to DAZ defaults. This pose may be applied to the figure when using clothing not customized for the Lit'l uns, though it should not be necessary in most cases. Applying CDI JPs will set the joint parameters back to the customized settings. Changing Intensity of Facial and Body Poses Use the following steps to attain varying degrees of intensity from Lit'l uns' facial and body poses: 1. After adding a Lit'l uns' preschooler or preteen to your scene, open the animation tray at the bottom of the Poser window. 2. Using the default 30 frames, move the slider all the way to the right to Frame 30. 3. Apply a facial pose from the CDI Lit'l uns PS or PT subcategory of the Faces library or a body pose from the CDI Lit'l uns PS or PT subcategory of the Poses library. 4. Adjust the slider to taste. Note that Poser must be set to Full Tracking to see changes from moving the slider. Choose DISPLAY/TRACKING/FULL TRACKING from the menu bar. Applying Poses Made for the Millennium Girls Poses created for the Millennium Girls should work with Lit'l uns though some adjusting will be required with certain morphs. If using one of the faces provided, you may need to apply the face after applying a library pose. Poses including morph channels may change the values of Lit'l uns' morphs. In this case you will need to manually adjust the morph settings using the parameter dials, or save the pose to the library without morphs then apply it to your Lit'l uns' character. Other Notes In some camera views there appears to be a hole in the seam between the head and upper neck of the preschooler when using the ThroatHeavy morph. If you encounter this problem, set the ThroatFix morph (on the head) to a value of 1.400. Head morphs are provided for scaling the head. These cause less distortion between the head and neck than using the Scale parameter. When using the ThroatHeavy morph, bend at the neck rather than the upper neck or head. Heavy figures may not bend well at the abdomen. Bend at the chest and buttocks instead. Use ForeCurve with ForeFolds to curve the brow. TeethNone should be set to 1 for no teeth, as they simply morph to the back of the head rather than down into the gums. Most dials do not work well over a value of 1 or below a value of -1 where appropriate. However, there are exceptions. Some morphs do not work well in combination with others. Most notably, the Blink morphs do not work well with some other eye morphs. Most facial poses will require adjustment to Scale and Translation of hair and other head props. Be sure to apply your facial pose before adjusting head dials. If you apply a facial pose after customizing dial settings, the customized settings will be reset by the pose. Facial poses were created using a focal length of 50mm. Body poses were created using a focal length of 100mm. Adding more than one figure with full or partial body morphs of the same name to a Poser scene will cause the second and succeeding figure's body/partial body morphs to be controlled by those of the first figure. You will not be able to control them using the second and succeeding figures. This may be desirable in some cases and not in others. When you need to control the body morphs on all figures load Lit'l uns' Null prior to loading other Lit'l uns' figures.
