Readme 3/16/03 These files are clip art and don't have to go in any particular directory. I would be appropriately tickled if you made a background folder and called it Bob Batt's pictures. Once you have purchased these images, you are free to use them any way you want except duplicating and reselling them. These images were captured with a SONY DCR-TRV730 digital Handycam at 640 X 480, 1mp. The file names are somewhat innacurate because I walked everywhere in Paris and a lot of the images are of what I saw coming from or going to the area that the file is named for. I burned and or blurred all of the faces and license plates and smudged some that might be identified by location. A few are no longer 640 X 480 because I used the Trim tool in Photoshop to eliminate people or objects near enough to the edge. There is a folder named Examples with examples of how I use the pictures. I recommend using the browse feature in ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 7 with POSER PRO hidden, locate the image you want and import it into your POSER PRO scene as a background image. I have composited POSER scenes with the images using PHOTOSHOP, " Tal at Flea mkt" was done that way. I rendered Tal with no ground and a white background at 640 X 480, 72 dpi and exported the image as a PSD file. In PHOTOSHOP I opened the flea Market file and the Tal file. I copied the layer, using the layer copy command in the Layer menu and used the Magic Erasure tool to make the white background transparent. Ithen dragged the layer into the Flea Market picture, flattened the image in the Layers menu and saved the completed picture. Wall Picture is just a POSER prop type rectangle with the image used as a texture. I hope you enjoy using these images and look forward to seeing them being used when I'm browsing.
