Easy Install: For most users, it should be possible to unzip the entire archive directly into your Poser\Runtime folder. If for some reason that does not work, please follow the instructions below. Manual Install: .obj files: 1. Find or create the folder \Runtime\Geometries\dcNatalia in your Poser folder. Copy all .obj files from the archive's \Runtime\Geometries\dcNatalia folder into \Runtime\Geometries\dcNatalia in your Poser folder. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THIS FOLDER BE IN THE RIGHT PLACE. Copy all of the .cr2 and .rsr files from the archive's \Runtime\libraries\character\Natalia folder into \Runtime\libraries\character\Natalia in your Poser folder. 5. Find or create the folder \Runtime\libraries\character\dcClothing in your Poser folder. Copy all of the .cr2 and .rsr files from the archive's \Runtime\libraries\character\dcClothing folder into \Runtime\libraries\character\dcClothing in your Poser folder. .pp2 files: 6. Find or create the folder \Runtime\libraries\Props\dcProps in your Poser folder. Copy all of the .pp2 and .rsr files from the archive's \Runtime\libraries\Props\dcProps folder into \Runtime\libraries\Props\dcProps in your Poser folder. .pz2 files: 7. Copy the entire \Runtime\libraries\Pose\Naga folder from the archive into \Runtime\libraries\Pose in your Poser folder. 8. Copy the entire \Runtime\libraries\Pose\Naga MAT folder from the archive into \Runtime\libraries\Pose in your Poser folder. .fc2 files: 9. Copy the entire \Runtime\libraries\face\Natalia Hi Faces folder from the archive into \Runtime\libraries\face in your Poser folder. (If you have the Hi-Res characters and Textures pack for Natalia installed you can skip this step. The face poses are the same). textures: 6. Find or create the folder \Runtime\textures\dacort in your Poser folder. Copy the entire \Runtime\textures\dacort\Naga folder into \Runtime\textures\dacort in your Poser folder. That's it! You should now be able to use this figure from within Poser as you would any others. Only the location of the .obj file is critical. Advanced users may wish to install the other files in different locations. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- USAGE INFORMATION Naga's tail is best posed using the QuickPose (TM) dials, which are located on the BODY. There are eight dials, TailCurlLR (left-right), TailCurlFB (front-back), TailTwist, TailTipLR (tip left-right), TailTipFB (tip front-back), TailSCurveLR ("S"-curve left-right), and TailSCurveFB ("S"-curve front-back). For ultimate smoothness, use the "Curl" or "Bend" morphs for the fin to bend it to match the tail. Poses IMPORTANT!!! - If you save your own poses that you made using the QuickPose (TM) dials, Poser will not save that information. This is a Poser problem and not something that I have control over. If you want to create poses for Naga that make use of the dials, you will need to edit the .pz2 files manually. In addition to her own, Naga does fairly well with Echidna poses. Faces A few face poses are included. Note that these face poses are generic and will remove the "slit pupil" morph from the eyes. Simply select the eyes and re-apply the morph if desired. MAT Files Two MAT files have been supplied for convenience. One applies the original Naga texture, the other the new Eela texture. Texture and Morph Compatibility Naga's head is fully texture and morph-compatible with Natalia, Naga, Undine, Alterna, and Melusine. The body is texture-compatible with Echidna. Naga Warrior The Naga Warrior figure is just Naga with the Bikini Top already applied, and a pair of dirks on her back, parented to the Bikini Top. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- USAGE RIGHTS You may use Naga to make all the images you want in Poser, Bryce, or other 3D applications. There are no commercial restrictions on the renders, provided that: The included textures are used only for the intended purpose, to apply color and surface detail to the Naga figure.
