Visationfx Bikers Workshop and Roadcreature copyright 2003 by Visationfx Intro Thanks for purchasing my latest scene for use in Poser4. I am a keen fan of custom motorcycles so I decided to tackle a bike which can be seen at the custom shows here in the UK called roadcreature. The real roadcreature has a Japanese V twin engine and shaft drive. I am currently teaching myself how to mesh model and I used these techniques to create the bodywork. I eventually hope to use these techniques to build characters. Scene The bike has been setup in a typical workshop setting and there are a few props included to help with the detailing on the renders. Please feel free to experiment with your own backgrounds and I have enclosed a copy of the grafitti jpeg in the texture section for your use. Props This model comes with a selection of props which will allow you to fine tune the model for your own requirements. I am aware that loading in all the props can be quite time consuming but I want users to have as much flexibility as possible in moving stuff around. I am also aware that some customers will have varying performance requirements so the ability to cut some objects out may prove useful. All of the props in the scene are smartpropped apart from the motorcycle. Textures I have included some bumpmap textures for this product to improve the tyre, wood and brick textures. I have been told that some Poser Pro users may have problems with the bum files included so if you do get problems with materials appearing too dark then please reload the textures through the material editor using the supplied jpegs with the same name. To turn the handlebars simply make sure that pbike2_1 is highlighted in the props menu once the bike has been loaded into the scene. It has been fully tested in Poser4 and Pro Pack Installing this product; To install this model, unzip it, using winzip classic, to your Poser directory, which in a normal installation will be along the following path; c:\Program Files\Metacreations\Poser4\ or C:\Program Files\Curious Labs\Poser 4\ Make sure to point WinZip at the Poser 4 folder NOT Runtime, as pointing it at Runtime will create a new directory structure under itself, and your models won't work! The main file can now be opened through the Figures/Visation-poolside tab. The next step is to temporarily. Turn off ground shadows from the display menu. This model also contains some preset camera positions setup using the aux camera. You can now start to add props from the visation props tab. For Props and Poses, double click on the Prop/Pose required and it will add to your scene.
