Place the GullWing.lws (in the LightwaveScenes folder) wherever you like also. Just remember where you put the object files because you will be prompted for their locations. Poser 4.03/Pro Pack: Place the contents of the Runtime/Libraries/character/ folder into your Runtime/Libraries/character/ folder. Poser 4.03/Pro Pack: Place the contents of the Runtime/Libraries/Pose/ folder into your Runtime/Libraries/Pose/ folder. Poser 4.03/Pro Pack: Place the contents of the Runtime/Libraries/props/ folder into your Runtime/Libraries/props/ folder. ProPack users can delete the items with a "P4" at the end of the name, while Poser-4 users can delete the ones without the "PP" at the end. Poser 4.03 and Pro Pack: Place the Runtime/Geometries/DPMotors and DPWear folders into your Runtime/Geometries directory. Place the Runtime/textures/DPProductions folder into your Runtime/textures folder. Place the Templates folder whereever you like, they are provided for you to make your own textures. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ How to use these : Lightwave3D: Choose to load the scene and select the 30sSedan-L5 (or L7).lws scene, you will be prompted for the locations of the various object files. You can also use the 'Load Items from Scene' option. Poser4/ProPack: Open the figures tab to the vehicles or DP-1930 directory and load the figure(s). For the clothes, you will need to conform them to a V3 figure from the figures menu. There are MATs for the clothes and car. To remove the Top-Light from the car,just select the Top-Light and Reflector body parts and in the objects menu choose properties and turn off visible and cast shadows. P4: You will need to convert the files with 'bump' in the name to .bum files..to do this, just load the images into poser via the materials editor as a bump map..Poser will ask if you want to convert the image, select yes. The P4 MATs already look for .bum files ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tip: For the clothing you may want to set some of V3's body parts to invisible to avoid some poke through. To do this select the vody part (chest for example), then under the object menu choose properties, then deselect visible and cast shadow. Important Note: Some of the objects are big, and may cause some longer load times, such as the car. For the clothes, I recommend posing V3 first, then load in the clothes..also, using box tracking speeds things up a bit. Also, turning on 'Use limits' in the figure menu can save a little posing time. In Lightwave to apply the Police look: Lightwave-5: Load in the 1930D-Door-FL.jpg, 1930D-Door-FR.jpg, 1930D-Door-RL.jpg, 1930D-Door-RR.jpg images..they are for the doors, just use planar mapping and choose automatic sizing. (fl=Front left, etc...) Lightwave-7: You can iether use the above method, or you can just load the 1930D-Police Doors.jpg and in the surfaces for each door set the color map to UV and use the Sedan-Map. It can then use the same images that are located in the Runtime/Textures/DPProductions folder of this archive.
