SJacket-X4.jpg SJShldrStrap-3.jpg SJShldrStrap.jpg ---------------------------------------------------------------- How to install: Lightwave: Place the LightwaveObjects folder wherever you like (usually in Objects) Place the LightwaveScenes wherever you like (usually in Scenes) Poser: Place the Runtime/Geometries/DPWear folder into your Runtime/Geometries directory. For the character, props and pose folders choose either the P4 (Poser-4) or PP (ProPack) depending on which version of Poser you use. Poser-5 users should be able to use the PP version. Place the Runtime/Libraries/character/DPSanity folder into your Runtime/Libraries/character/ folder Place the Runtime/Libraries/character/DPBuilding folder into your Runtime/Libraries/character/ folder Place the Runtime/Libraries/Pose/DPInj folder into your Runtime/Libraries/Pose/ folder. It is most important that this folder be in the Pose directory, do not change the name also..the Inj poses target files in this directory. Place the Runtime/Libraries/Pose/DPSanity folder into your Runtime/Libraries/Pose/ folder Place the Runtime/textures/DPProduction folder into your Runtime/textures folder Place the contents of the Templates folders wherever you wish..These you can use to make your own materials. ---------------------------------------------------------------- How to use these : Lightwave: You can either load the object(s) (use either L5 (for Lightwave 5.x and lower) or the L7 (for Lightwave 6.x or higher) or load the either of the scenes, which have lights (see last sentence) Poser: Load in a Victoria-2 Figure, you can then use the included injection poses, located in the DPSanity folder you put in the pose directory. You can also use any of the included MAT files to apply the textures to the figure. Then you can load the clothing items, located in the DPSanity folder in characters. (see tips section) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Tips on usage: For some poses, you may need to adjust the character's morphs to compensate for the dreaded poke-thru. Or you may even want to make parts of the figure not visible. To make a part invisible, select the part (such as chest) then in the object menu, choose Properties and turn off visible and casts shadow. The MATs are labeled with a 'c' ' l' or 'b ' they stand for Canvas, Leather and Beige. It is best to apply the inj pose and Mats before posing your figure. I have included a pose for V2, which sets up the arms in position for having the jacket on. For the Jacket arms, you will need to manually pose them so that the straps attach to the jacket or arm, usually the same arm as the strap is on. Start at the Arm-Seg-1, not hand. The Shoulder Strap (SJShldrStrap) is a static figure that conforms to the base figure (v2) and has magnets to adjust it to fit. The included Shoulder Strap .cr2 file (SJShldrStrap3) is a segmented and posable version of the included props...While it conforms and poses easily, it does have a tendency to slip out of pose, so I included it only as something for you to play with...if anyone can determine why it slips and can fix it, we can could probably work something out. The Crotch straps conform and use morphs to simulate being attached...some extreme poses can cause them to become -unnattached to the back of the jacket. A note on the DPInj folder located in the pose directory: This directory contains the inj data for the custom morphs of the figures..you should not need to access these directly, but you may if you wish..there are no .png's or .rsr's in this folder. For future note, this will be where I place all my custom inj files, that way you wont end up with oodles of folders in your pose directory. Poser-4 Users: Poser -4 users will have to convert the *BUMP.jpg to *BUMP.bumome of the images have only a 'B' at the end due to filename length.pen Poser and open the Materials editor. From the BUMP Map menu on the bottom left, select Load, Navigate to folder where you placed the textures and choose the BUMP map to be converted and click "OK". Poser will give you an alert message saying Image files must be converted to BUMP maps before they can be used. Do you wish to do this now? Click "Yes" and wait while the file is converted. Wash, Rinse, repeat as needed :) Thanks again for purchasing our package, Enjoy If you have questions, comments, ideas, or whatever, feel free to contact me. lwanmtr@yahoo.com www.geocities.com/lwanmtr home.earthlink.net/~lwanmtr Thanks
