Product Title: Chariot Howdy. Thanx for purchasing my Chariot package! I hope you enjoy it, and I would love to see what you do with it. Poser files have been tested by me in Poser Pro Pack (Macintosh) and Poser 4.03 (PC). The Lightwave objects and scene are in 5.x and 7.x format so anyone should be able to use them. Place the contents of the Lightwave/Scenes folder wherever you like also. Just remember where you put the object files because you will be prompted for their locations. Place the content of the Lightwave/Images folder wherever you like (again remember where as Lightwave will ask for these images). Poser 4.03/Pro Pack: Place the contents of the Runtime/Libraries/character/Vehicles folder into your Runtime/Libraries/character/Vehicles folder. ProPack users can delete the .rsr files, while Poser-4 users can delete the .png files. Poser 4.03 and Pro Pack: Place the Runtime/Geometries/DPGeo folder into your Runtime/Geometries directory. Place the Runtime/textures/DPProductions folder into your Runtime/textures folder. Place the Templates wherever you like..They are there for you to use in making textures for the parts. ----------------------------------------------------------------- How to use these : Lightwave3D: Choose to load the scene and select the scene you want to load. You will be prompted for the locations of the various object and image files. Poser4/ProPack: Open the figures tab to the vehicles directory and load the figure. You can then pose 'em how ya like. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Important Note: The Chariot is approximately 250,000 ploygons and 21mb, so it may take some time to load..be patient (especially when loading into Poser-4 for the first time). Some low spec machines may have problems using this object. Tips on usage: In Poser, use the Chariot-Dummy to set up the basic positions of the objects and parts. The only thing the dummy doesn't have is the tread morphs. In Poser to animate the treads moving more than 1 step, use the graph editor and be sure to set the frame following the end to 0..for instance if your animation is 120 frames, but it only take 10 frames to move the tread 1 step (1 tread part's length) then set the morph to 0 on frame 0, 1 on frame 10 and 0 on frame 11..the graph editor will fill in the rest. I hope I explained that correctly. Lightwave-7 version and Windows-XP: The Chariot-7.lws seems to load wrong on systems running Wondows-XP. I am trying to track this down, but until then I cannot guarantee that it will work on those systems. The .lwo seems to load fine, as does the Chariot-5.lws. In Lightwave-7, the scene file uses an expression to set up movment of the tread based on is movement from center of the scene. The Lightwave-7 version has the same UV's as the Poser version, so they can use the same maps. All content created and 2004 by Rob Depew (Lwanmtr).
