Rock Stage for Poser People Copyright Ownership belongs to RPublishing. This product was originally acquired through VanishingPoint. This set contains both a pz3 file (the complete rock stage environment) and all of the objects used in it: the cr2 figures, the pp2 props, and the obj geometry files. These will be installed into the usual Poser folders so you can build your own rock stage configuration. Directions: Extract the files into the specified folders: Put the obj file into Runtime\Geometries\JHoagland\Rockstage Put the cr2/ rsr/ png (figure files) into Runtime\Libraries\Figures\Rockstage Put the pp2/ rsr/ png (prop files) into Runtime\Libraries\Props\Rockstage Put the jpg files (textures) into Runtime\Textures\JHoagland\rockstage --The gif files are the textures templates and are not used on any of the models. They are included in case you want to build your own textures. Notes: 1) Poser 4 users do not need to extract the png files and Poser Pro Pack and Poser 5 users do not need to extract the rsr files. 2) The pz3 (scene file) can be extracted to any folder... just remember where you extract it. Using the rock stage: 1) Start Poser. 2) File > Open the Rockstage.pz3 file. Note: You may (but probably won't) get an "error" saying that "The requested document size is too large, creating the next best thing." If this does happen, don't panic- this is normal. The document window is 610x610, which should easily fit within a 1024x768 screen resolution (or larger). If you are using an 800x600 screen, just go to Window > Document Window Size to adjust. 3) Add your own characters and instruments. Notes: 1) The center drum stage can be raised and lowered by selecting it and adjusting the dial OR by selecting the Rockstage > Body part and adjusting the "RaiseLowerDrumStage" dial. 2) Switch to the Aux Camera for a good overview of the rock stage. 3) The microphones are positioned in (and parented to) the microphone stands. Remember to Object > Change Parent if you want your character to hold the microphone. Keep in mind that these microphones are low in detail (since they'll be in a microphone stand or hand). If you'll be doing close-up shots of a singer, I recommend finding a higher-quality microphone prop. 4) If you want people and instruments to raise and lower properly with the drum stage, they should be parented to the RockStage > DrumStage. 5) Two copies of most figures have been included- this is to avoid "crosstalk" (where one figure controls the other). Both "A" and "B" versions are identical (and use the same obj file), though there may differences in colors. Add an "A" version to the scene, add a "B" version to the scene, and neither will affect the other. 6) To add more realism to your scene, I recommend using the AZL Crowd Kit (and my "Day of the Ninja" Expansion Pack) to quickly add a crowd in front of the stage. --------------- Listing of files found in the zip file: readme.txt (readme file) license.txt (license file) RockStage.pz3 (rock stage scene file) Runtime\Geometries\JHoagland -drapefront.obj -draperear.obj -light1.obj -light2.obj -microphone.obj -microphonestand2.obj -microphonestand3.obj -monitorspeaker.obj -rockstage1.obj -speaker2cone.obj -speaker4cone.obj -truss1.obj -truss4light.obj -truss4light2.obj -truss8light.obj Runtime\libraries\Rockstage -Light1.cr2 -Light1.png -Light1.rsr -Light2.cr2 -Light2.png -Light2.rsr -MicStandA.cr2 -MicStandA.png -MicStandA.rsr -MicStandB.cr2 -MicStandB.png -MicStandB.rsr -RockStage.cr2 -RockStage.png -RockStage.rsr -Truss2LightsA.cr2 -Truss2LightsA.png -Truss2LightsA.rsr -Truss2LightsB.cr2 -Truss2LightsB.png -Truss2LightsB.rsr -Truss4Light2A.cr2 -Truss4Light2A.png -Truss4Light2A.rsr -Truss4Light2B.cr2 -Truss4Light2B.png -Truss4Light2B.rsr -Truss4LightsA.cr2 -Truss4LightsA.png -Truss4LightsA.rsr -Truss4LightsB.cr2 -Truss4LightsB.png -Truss4LightsB.rsr -Truss8LightsA.cr2 -Truss8LightsA.png -Truss8LightsA.rsr -Truss8LightsB.cr2 -Truss8LightsB.png -Truss8LightsB.rsr Runtime\libraries\Props\Rockstage -DrapeFront.png -DrapeFront.pp2 -DrapeFront.rsr -DrapeRear.png -DrapeRear.pp2 -DrapeRear.rsr -Microphone.pp2 -Microphone.rsr -MicrophoneStand3.png -MicrophoneStand3.pp2 -MicrophoneStand3.rsr -MonitorSpeaker.png -MonitorSpeaker.pp2 -MonitorSpeaker.rsr -Speaker2Cone.png -Speaker2Cone.pp2 -Speaker2Cone.rsr -Speaker4Cone.png -Speaker4Cone.pp2 -Speaker4Cone.rsr -Truss.png -Truss.pp2 -Truss.rsr Runtime\Textures\JHoagland -Silver.jpg Runtime\Textures\rockstage -drapefront.gif -draperear.gif -drum-riser-texture.jpg -light1.gif -light2.gif -microphone.gif -microphonestand2.gif -microphonestand3.gif -monitorspeaker.gif -rockstage1.gif -speaker2cone.gif -speaker4cone.gif -SpeakerScreen.jpg -stage-texture.jpg -truss4light.gif -truss4light2.gif -truss8light.gif -VPLogo-for-drape.jpg NONE of these files may be redistributed (please completely read the enclosed license) Product Support is available by Renderosity SiteMail to RPublishing.
