PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN ADD ON TO THE "3d WorldsCore V2" pack. YOU MUST HAVE THAT PACK FOR THIS PACK TO BE OF ANY USE. The World Kit has now been updated to version 2 and is completely compatible with Poser 6, while still working on Poser 4. However it is advisable to use Poser 6 to get the newest features. NOTE Although this Kit will run on lesser systems it is best to use at least a P4 1.8mhz with at least 256 meg Ram or a G4 Mac with 500 meg ram. NOTE There is a PDF Manual in Poser 6\ Runtime \ HMann-Read Me's, this manual is very useful (although it is for version 1... so some of the directories have changed) Still its worth a read to help you further understand the kit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Installing The "3d-Grass,Leafy,Grnds V2 Pack" First make sure that you have already installed the 3d WorldsCore V2" pack. Simply unzip the downloaded 3d-Grass,Leafy,Grnds V2 and locate the runtime folder in it, then drag and drop it onto the runtime folder in your Poser 6 directory. Windows will say "There is already a folder called runtime etc...do you want to replace? etc..say "Yes to all", thats it... it is now installed. The new World Kit is completely Mac compatible as well, however you should install it the way you install any other Poser goodies and extras on the Mac. This pack gives you several new high quality ground textures to add to the versatility of the Core Kit. To get the uncompromising detail that is necessary these ground textures are quite large and tri mapped so they have incredible detail when the camera is in the centre of the world scene. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ QUICK START Fire up your Poser 6 application and add the "Ground-Subdivide" ground plane from the "Props \ ! 3d Worlds" menu. Now go to the "Poses \ ! 3d Worlds" menu bar on the right, there will be 4 new ground Plane textures at the top "Autumn&Ditch, Autumn Leaves, Grass and Grassy path". Make sure you have a figure in your scene and also make sure that your Poser app is on full texture shaded display (Ctrl 9). Now simply double click one of the top 4 icons and the ground will change texture, you can use the morphs on the Ground-Subdivide to get more variation if you need to. Read the Read Me CoreKit.txt in Runtime\HMann-Read Me's for information on how to set up a full world scene. Also read the PDF manual in the Runtime\HMann-Read Me's for further information. 16 Free scene files are available at www.magix3d.com under "Freebies". NOTE: for all the scenes to work you must have all 3 world packs installed, and it is best to use Poser 6, (the raytracing and displacement mapping scenes wont work properly in Poser 4, and the displacement scenes wont render properly in Poser 5, all other scenes work in Poser 4 and 5. However it is advisable to use Poser 6 to get the newest features. Warez and File sharing is hurting the Poser community, most of us individual artists are very close to being put out of business by file sharing, ultimately anyone who does this is not only hurting the artist, but also all the users who are honest and enjoy using these products, only a very small proportion of buyers see fit to either make these products available as Warez or as so called shared files. Please do not distibute these items as Warez or shareware. Most merchants actually struggle to make ends meet and so called file sharing has discouraged many merchants from producing any further creations for the Poser community, because the already low profit margins have been even further eroded by illegal activity thereby making it impossible to carry on with our small businesses. We are not big software manufacturers, we are small self funded artists that pay rent and struggle to provide for families, and distributing our products as WAREZ is no better than breaking into that persons house on a daily basis and stealing a substantial part of their wages. IF you can have a conscience about this...PLEASE DO NOT DISTRIBUTE THESE ITEMS IN THIS WAY. Because eventually this activity will not only put the artist out of business but will also deprive the whole community of further products from that artist.
