Directions: Extract the files into the specified folders: Put the obj file into Runtime\Geometries\JHoagland\apache Put the cr2/ rsr/ png (figure files) into Runtime\Libraries\Character\JHoagland Put the pz2/ rsr/ png (pose files) into Runtime\Libraries\Pose\Apache Put the pp2/ rsr/ png (prop files) into Runtime\Libraries\Props\Apache Put the jpg files (textures) and gif files (templates) into Runtime\Textures\JHoagland\Apache --The gif files are the texture templates and are not used on the models. They are included in case you want to build your own textures. The mpi file is the "figure definition file" for use with my MAT Pose Creator (available at the Marketplace). Open the program, go to File > Import, select this file, and you can easily create your own MAT poses. Notes: 1) Poser 4 users do not need to extract the png files and Poser Pro Pack and Poser 5 users do not need to extract the rsr files. 2) If there is no template for a material (such as "black"), then that material uses a solid color. Using the figure: 1) Start Poser. 2) Go to the Figures > JHoagland Library. 3) Add the Apache to your scene. To use the weapon props: Go to the Props > Apache Library and add them to the Apache to suit your taste: -Right and left wing-mounted Hellfire Rockets. -Right and left, interior and exterior mounted 3-missile pack. -Right and left, interior and exterior mounted 4-missile pack. -Right and left, interior and exterior mounted pod (for use as a camera mount or smaller missile rack). Notes: 1) The Military Assault Helicopter will seem "big" and may fill the scene. This is normal- it is scaled so Poser figures can sit in the cockpit. 2) As usual for my vehicles, most of the moving parts have corresponding dials on the Body. Some parts (such as the flight stick and yoke) do not have corresponding dials on the body: select each part to move them. 3) The Military Assault Helicopter comes with "blade blur" props- these simulate the spinning of the blades without the need for any kind of "motion blur" rendering effect. To switch between the regular blades and "blade blur" blades: --Upper Blade: Apply the "UpperBladesHide" pose to hide the stationary blades/ show the "blade blur" version. Apply the "UpperBladesShow" pose to show the stationary blade/ hide the "blade blur" version. --Rear Blade: Apply the "RearBladesHide" and "RearBladesShow" poses. 4) *NEW* This helicopter comes with a "Blade Pitch" dial to adjust the tilt angle of the upper blades. Simply move the dial (on the body) to change the pitch of the blades. Keep in mind that this effect is subtle (+9 to -9 degrees) and, depending on your camera angle, you may not see anything change. 5) Use the "RearBladeBlur" and "UpperBladeBlur" MAT poses to change the "blade blur" transparency map. Changing the transparency map does NOT change the color. 6) Like other Poser figures, the Military Assault Helicopter uses full body morphs to control its body parts. If you add two of these figures to the scene, you may get "cross-talk" (where one figure affects the other). 7) Please note that when the Military Assault Helicopter lands on the ground, the body is angled (the rear wheel is higher, so the rear of helicopter drops down). Due to this fact, use the "Landed" pose to accurately land the helicopter on all 3 wheels. Use the "LevelFlight" pose to undo the angled landing. 8) The front doors on the real Military Assault Helicopter open at an angle... which is something Poser can not accurately duplicate. For this reason, there is no "OpenDoor" dial- please use the pose files to open and close the front doors. If you would like to manually open the doors, be aware that you must adjust the xRotate, yRotate, and zRotate dials. 9) Do not "drop to ground"- the figure's parts may do weird things.
