The necessary files will install automatically into the following directories: Geometries : ...Runtime\Geometries\TrapperKit\ ...Runtime\Geometries\DogSled\ (LongSled.obj and LongCargo.obj) Character : ...Runtime\Libraries\Character\TrapperKit\ ...Runtime\Libraries\Character\DogSled (LongSled.cr2) Pose-MAT : ...Runtime\Libraries\Poses\TrapperKit-MAT Poses : ...Runtime\Libraries\Poses\Sled Textures : ...Runtime\Textures\TrapperKit\ ...Runtime\Textures\DogSled\ (Longsled.jpg, LongCargo1.jpg and LongCargo2.jpg) Text Files : ...Runtime\Readme\TrapperKit To make using the Sled easier, the LongSled Character is installed in both the TrapperKit and the DogSled directories. USAGE TIPS : 1-Loading and Attaching the Dogs to the sled : Please follow the instructions provided with the Dogsled to attach the Dogs to the sled. Simply use Quickposes LongSled1 thru LongSled4 provided with this package to position the dogs properly. Should you want to add more dogs, each new pair needs to be translated (Xtrans) -0.72 units from the previous one. So, for the 5th pair Xtrans should be : Xtran= -4.34 6th Pair : Xtran= -5.06 7th Pair : XTran= -5.78 etc etc... 2- Using the Snowshoes The Snowshoes are NOT CONFORMABLE, this would require a different pair of Snowshoes for every possible character. However they can be PARENTED to your characters' feet. The footstraps are wide enough that they will accomodate almost any character with regular shoes. 1 -Load your character, then load the snowshoes one by one. 2-The Snowshoes will load very close to your character's feet. 3-Rotate and translate the snowshoes until the character's feet are in the straps and PARENT the snowshoes to the feet. 4-You can now move your character around, and the snowshoes will follow.(don't forget the racket part of the shoe can swing) 3- Using the Traps : Both traps are built on a common obj. They differ from each other because of a series of morphs applied to them. These morphs are called BearLeft, BearRight and Widen. These morphs are of no use to you and can safely be ignored (they would be hidden if Poser allowed it) To access the sliders that activate all the parts in sequence, select the BODY part of the trap, and you'll find the slider at the top : Arm/Release for the Beaver-Trap and Release/Arm for the Bear-Trap These sliders have different names to avoid Cross talk. You can safely load both traps together and work them independentely. 4- The Pelts : All four pelts are also built from a common obj and differ only in size. However the characters are also designed to avoid cross-talk. So you can safely load all four pelts together and pose them independentely. Do not load the same pelt twice in the same scene, as you will encounter cross talk problems. Load another one instead and play with Scale and MAT files to pose them the way you want.
