Product Name: NBS_V3 Python version Copyright March, 2007 By: Alfred Torrescano -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ownership statements or list of licensed source material: All of the content in this package was created by by Alfred Torrescano, A.K.A Posermatic -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NEEDED FILES LIST -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- System Requirements: Poser 6 and 7. It works on Poser PP and 5 also but it is not recommended since the process has to be done manually. This morphs pack will NOT work on DAZ Studio. Victoria 3 by DAZ. Any Victoria 3 figure, except those whose .obj has been modified. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation: Extract the NBSV3_py.zip to the folder where your Studio file is. X:\\Program files\e frontier\Poser 7\Runtime X= the drive you have Poser installed on. ---Important Note: You must install NBS in the MAIN runtime otherwise it won't work. Specially the python script requires to be in your main or working Runtime. If you require to work in both Poser 6 and 7 then I advise to install NBS on both runtimes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Instructions and operations: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Working with NBS Python version -------------- Overview: NBS for V3 requires almost 80 empty morph channels in the chest and Body of V3. The last V3 cr2 of Victoria 3 had 60 empty channels but 30 and some times more are used by the morphs of Victoria so it is impossible to inject all the NBS morphs on her as she is now. Before, to solve this problem, I made a fixed cr2 that had all the empty channels of V3 plus the required by NBS. The downside was that you have to use this cr2 from the start and you can't use a custom cr2 either, like Arduino's figures. Now in this version of NBS you can inject all required empty morph channels on V3 with a simple python script. This will make a more creative work flow since you can for example pose and set your V3 figure and then try NBS on her. The process doesn't have to be so linear since you can decide to inject the morphs later in your project and not to think of it since the beginning. I have tweaked and modified some of the morphs of the old version that thought could be better so you will obtain even better results with this version. -------------- The process: 1) Open your poser scene with V3 or load the V3 figure from the library. 2) Go to the Pose library and then look for the folder NBS-V3_Py 3) Select your V3 figure and then double click on the file: Add channels P6-7 It will appear that nothing had happened but if you select the chest you will see the new empty channels. 4) Now double click on the file !NBS_INJ_V3 in the pose library and that is it! All the morphs are now loaded in your figure. 5) Enjoy! -------------- The morphs: Once the NBS-inj is loaded you will see the new morphs appear at the body, chest, rcollar and lcollar. To manipulate them use the dials on the body of the figure. NBS comes with 71 morphs created for the purpose of giving a natural gravity look to V3 breasts. If you would like to SAVE and specific breast pose for further usage later you most use the CHEST dials INSTEAD of the BODY dials. This is because the body morphs cannot be saved in Poser 6 and although Body morphs can be saved in P7 NBS morphs in the Body cannot. Most of the names are obvious but others are not, I had to shortened some so they could fit in the name of the dial. I know 70 dials are difficult to handle, visualize and work with, so I provide a PDF file in which you will find a little representation of each morph dial and its corresponding name so you could print it and consult it every time you are posing. Here's a list of the names you will come by and what they mean: ArmPsh = the arm is in contact with the breast and pushes it. Bt= Both DW= Down Frnt= Front Blge= Bulge SD= to the Side Slip= when the breasts moves outward while lying upside FFlat= A flat object pushes toward the breast. You can read it as Front Flat Hng= Hang, lining forward Inner= the inner side of the breast Up= you can guess:) LtoR_Up= Left breast to right side and in an Up direction The morphs are divided, while posing you will more use than one, in simultaneous movement (Bt=both) and individual (usually will be a clear R for right and L for left). The FFlat morph comes in two versions, for example, FFlat-6-L and FFlat-6a-L. FFlat-6 without the letter means that both breasts has the same size, although the effect only applies to one of them. When they have the letter it means that one remains at the default size and the other has the effect and a certain size. -------------- Working with characters If you want to use NBS with an specific character already done just select your figure, add the channels, and then inject the NBS morphs. Currently is not possible to dynamically create the channels needed by NBS inside D|S. Therefore the D|S versions is still tied to a fixed cr2. -------------- -------------- Poser 5 users Poser 5 can't load a python script from the library so you have to do it manually. Here is how to do it: 1) Open your poser scene with V3 or load the V3 figure from the library. 2) On the menu, go to Window/Python Scripts 3) The python script window will appear, click in one of the empty buttons and an open dialog will pop-up. 4) Once in there go to the following location: /Runtime/Python/poserScripts/Posermatic-Py/addNBScH-P6.py 5) Select your V3 figure and then in the python scripts window click on the new button: addNBScH-P6 It will appear that nothing had happened but if you select the chest you will see the new empty channels. 6) Now double click on the file !NBS_INJ_V3 in the pose library and that is it! All the morphs are now loaded in your figure. 7) Enjoy! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EXACT ZIP FILE CONTENTS (FILES AND FOLDERS) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ..\Runtime\libraries\Character\NBS_DS\ Victoria SAE 80.CR2 Victoria SAE 80.png Victoria SAE 80.rsr ..\Runtime\libraries\Pose\NBS_V3_DS\ !NBS_INJ_V3-DS.png !NBS_INJ_V3-DS.pz2 !NBS_INJ_V3-DS.rsr !NBS_REM_V3-DS.png !NBS_REM_V3-DS.pz2 !NBS_REM_V3-DS.rsr !NBS_Reset.png !NBS_Reset.pz2 !NBS_Reset.rsr ..\Runtime\libraries\Posermatic-INJ\NBS_DS_INJFiles\ HIDE_NBS_V3-DS.pz2 INJ_NBS_V3-DS.pz2 REM_NBS_V3-DS.pz2 ..\Runtime\NBS for V3_DS docs\ Readme_NBS for V3_DS.txt license.txt -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- USAGE RESTRICTIONS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NBS is the creation of Alfred Torrescano, A.K.A Posermatic.
