Now Read Loading Up The Hot Leather / Dress Figure ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Loading Up The Hot Leather / Dress Conforming Figure (Part C): Please follow the following steps to get use to the procedure in creating and manipulating you're new Conforming Figure. C1.Open Your Poser 4 application. You will need to go to your Library Character Rollout and bring up a Victoria V3 Character of your choosing (for your first time the using the Hot Leather / Dress Conforming Figure, The default V3 from Daz Pleople Folder is preferable until you get use to your new item). C2.The first and most important thing to be done before you load the Hot Leather / Dress Conforming Figure is to "Zero" your Victoria V3 Figure. The first step in this process is to select the "Body" part of your Victoria V3 from the menu pullout which is found at the bottom of "Document Window." C3.The second step is turning the IK chains off in the V3 figure's legs. This is done by going to the top menu bar of the Poser 4 interface choosing "Figure" > "Use Inverse Kinematics" and checking the "Right Leg" and "Left Leg." C4.The third and finial step in Zeroing the figure is again going to the top menu bar of the Poser 4 interface by choosing "Window" > "Joint Editor", this will then bring up the "Joint Editor Dialogue Box." Mid-way down in the dialogue box you will see a button that says "Zero Figure" By clicking the button you "Zero the Figure." You should see the V3 Figure in the document window stand up more straighter and natural than the default knee bent stance. C5.Now that you have completed this task it is time to load the Hot Leather / Dress Conforming Figure. First, you will need to go to your Library Character Rollout looking in the menu list for "CDC HL Dress." Here you will find the the dress conforming figure. Load the dress up onto your Victoria V3 character one at a time and "Conform" the piece of clothing to V3 figure by going to the top menu bar of the Poser 4 interface by choosing "Figure" > "Conform to..." A small dialogue box will open up with a pull down window - choose the appropriate V3 figure from the list and "Click Ok. Now Repeat the same steps for the second piece of clothing. C6.There you should have the Hot Leather / Dress Conforming Figure Top and Bottom conformed to your Victoria V3. You may now turn on your Kinematics if you so wish. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that the Hip in the dress is designed as one single piece and does not contain groups for the Buttocks or the Thighs. Conforming the dress's hip to any of Victoria 3's poses is done with the basic morph targets that have been provided in the figure. The process may take a little bit more time and care in creating a pose with the dress - but overall creates less distortion in the dress's mesh (such as straps zippers and metal buckles ) and its detailed texture maps. Furthermore, depending on the pose magnets may need to be employed to get the desired results.
