All models contain logical named surfaces for easy procedural coloring and effects.

****Very Special Note****

SET SURFACE SMOOTHING TO NONE or VERY LOW on most surfaces using the standard versions of this package.
Newport model, contains interior walls and some doors that are 75% opened. 
Rear French Doors are open to the back deck.
To remove the Roof, locate the surfaces named.
1. A_RemoveCeiling
2. A_RemoveRoofExterior
3. A_RemoveRoofInterior
4. A_RemoveRoofPlywood
5. A_RemoveRoofSoffits
6. A_RemoveRoofWalls

++++ To hide the roof and lights for top view shots, continue to set surface settings for names that begin with {"A_Remove"} as needed.

>Tips: You can copy, paste or duplicate and position as many chairs, bed's, lights etc as needed to complete your scenes.

1. POSER 4 ONLY! Change the material settings for all 6 surfaces above as follows >Highlight size 1% Transparency 100%.
2. POSER 5 ONLY! Change the material settings for all 6 surfaces above as follows >Highlight size 0% (0.0) Transparency 100% (1.0)
then uncheck the Ignore Shader Tree check box.
All other programs use delete surface or try to hide from the render.
Set Glass Transparency between 75-100% in all other programs.



The look of the models in this package were created algorithmically using functions, filters, color maps and 
texture images.

*Rendered in Vue 4 Professional.

Special Note: 
Files included in this product are for programs that can import or open named surfaced models.
Assembled in Lightwave and tested in Layout, Vue 4 Professional, Bryce 5, Poser 4 and 5.

*Special Note for Poser users: You must use the "Posers" version model in Poser,
as they have been unwelded for use in this program.

Included in this Model set are Poser versions as a courtesy for users of this program.

*Instructions are as follows:

Poser users go to >File>Import>Wavefront OBJ... and locate the folder that has the models and textures.
Select and >Open the "XXXXPosers.obj" (Model file), the textures if any, will automatically be applied.

***********Special Note: Scaling will need to be adjusted in order to correctly fit the furniture to their respective locations in the house.

For house model Newport, locate the "glass" surface from the material editor and set the following values.
1.> Set "Transparency" IN THE MATERIAL EDITOR for Object>Props> "NewportPosers"  Material >"Glass" to (1.0) or any other value you like.
Transparency values are a ballpark, change for different lighting conditions.


Extra Figures and background not included.
HOUSE MODEL IS FURNISHED.


Application instructions:

Unzip this file and pick your location to place the models and texture files.
For best results, leave all files together in the same folder.
Open or Import, this model into any application that supports the "(.obj)" file format.


Disclaimer: This model is sold as is.
Digital 3D Studios does not provide model translation services.
It is up to the "Artist" to use additional textures to get desired results, see "Special Notes" below about this issue.

*****Special Notes: 
Surfaces containing textures have special UV mapping information and should adhere to the seamless texture paradigm.
Create and match the size and seamless pattern to change from default images.
Surfaces not mapped with textures have been left alone to facilitate color changes only, and therefor contain unrealible
uv mapping data and may need to be re-mapped again, by the user, for this purpose.
Removable roof is part of a system and is intented for this purpose only, removing single surfaces will show geometry anomalies
between layers and is not guaranteed to render correctly or supported.
