Future Buildings (obj version) By vbarreto (enriquebarreto@hotmail.com) Copyright Sep 30, 2005 FUTURE BUILDINGS AND GRAVOMATIC CAR BONUS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION -Alpha building is a sort of futuristic drive in shopping centre. There are 2 gyratory landing gates in each side and a tunnel ramp for quickly pick up of previously ordered goods. The upper level hangar is a small parking area for employees. It is self powered by a wind orientated windmill that produce and transmit rotational energy to drive a couple of air compressors that substantially compress air to move and increase the RPMs of a pair of free shaft turbines/electric generators in the base. -Bravo building is an Ultramar station with an interior parking area accessed by the rear-landing gate. A key feature is its own harvest system located on the front terrace. It is part of the global resting stations scheme for long-range trips. -Charlie building is a Sci-fi battle station. It is self powered by 2 sets of wind electric generators. The whole set of wind generators can be horizontally rotated to a maximum 72 degrees to present the propellers into the wind for maximum power efficiency. To avoid conflict with the propellers during battle the 2 set of turrets are raised to obtain a complete firing free area. -Grav-o-matic car "Go-1" is an antigravity vehicle scaled down to play effectively with the buildings. As this vehicle has complete control of its G-weight it doesn't need wheels to land or when parked. Gravomatic car achieve directional control by steering the engine exhaust and navigates using a frontal MG-plotter/autopilot that adjust the magnetic position of fixed main stations around the planet. 2 magnetic repellent anti-collision frames are installed each side of the car for utmost safe driving. Crashing is not possible with this vehicle. 5 fully detailed new grav-o-matic cars package will soon be released in the market. Of course this is my own description of this package. Purchasers can perfectly change the purpose of the buildings and car. It is completely up to your imagination to take the maximum advantage of this sci-fi product. PROGRAM/HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS The whole Future Building package has been tested in different 3D software applications (Poser 4, 5 and 6; Vue d’Esprit 4, Vue 4 Professional, Vue 5 Pro Studio and Vue 5 Infinite; Bryce 4 and 5.01; Daz Studio 1.0; Autodesk 3D max 7 and 3; Caligari TrueSpace 3.2; Carrara 4 Pro; Strata 3D CX; Silo 1.41; Softimage XSI 4.2; Cinema 4D 8.5 and 9.1; Pandromeda Mojoworld 3.0 and Worldbuilder Pro 4,2) to ensure the buildings and the gravomatic car bonus can be imported properly. The buildings and the car work entirely well in those programs. -Bryce users may need to apply 31 degrees max smooth angle on buildings and 85 degrees max on base rock, on edit mesh option for better display and rendering. -Poser users please DO NOT select weld identical vertices option when prop import OBJ dialogue appears. In addition, Poser 6 users only, objects with bump texture may wrongly assign the bump texture in the diffuse colour channel. Please just swap it with the colour texture in the material room. -Softimage and Silo users need to scale substantially down the buildings. -Truespace 3.2 users need to manually assign textures to meshes. -World builder users may have to set smoothing group to minimum 85 degrees. -All users: OBJ transfer plugin does not support texture reflection and glowing information. Please adjust metallic reflections and glowing intensity as required. Charlie building requires a simple intuitive regrouping for proper rotation of parts. Names of parts are easily recognizable for this task. It would not be possible to test the models with every 3D program on the market so there is no guarantee that it will work with the rest of 3D programs. A Pentium II system with 128MB of RAM would be the minimum recommended hardware requirement for using this model. Hard disk space required is 15 MB. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All this product's content was created by vbarreto.
