Utilizing the advanced material technology in Poser (P5 and P6 users), these owls are sure to get attention with their glowing feathers and large staring eyes. Each owl is individually detailed with their own set of morphs and textures. Arki's Fantasy Owls are a wonderful addition to your runtime. Or simply unzip this package manually to whichever place you desire to copy all the folders manually to their destinations. Notice for P4 users: This package contains bumpmaps for use with the hair textures. Before first use you will have to convert these bumpmaps for P4. Notice for P5 and P6 users: Do not use the 'draft' option to render images with this package. This and the option 'texture filtering' will cause seams to appear in the renders which do not exist! Notice for Mac users: Should you encounter problems using this package, please grab the Maconverter by MartinC in the free stuff or at his website http://www.soft-rabbit.com/. This utility should convert all your files to make this package fully compatible. Useage tips: You will achieve best results with the below mentioned P5 and P6 rendersettings: P6 Production Cast shadows Smooth polygons Remove backfacing polys Raytrace bounces - 0 Min shading rate - 0.2 Pixel samples - 3 Max texture size - 2000 Max bucket size - 25 P5 Production Cast shadows Smooth polygons Minimum shading rate (pixel area) - 0.200 Maximum texture resolution - 2000 You can, of course, maximize the Maximum texture resolution (P5) or Max texture size (P6)to the real values of the provided textures. The settings mentioned were tested on my own system and produced acceptable results even for face closeups.
