Pose --> Liltsure-Mrphs: Morphs Injection; 1-click poses to set the hair movement morphs and to use as graphic reference, Magnets MATs You have to install both Zips to use the product, the first zip includes: Geometries, figures and poses the second one includes the Textures. - The V3 hair, cap and band include morphs to fit both Kielo and Yaara. Kielo in the MP: http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=35684 (no fitting needed for the hair) Yaara in the MP: http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=41122 - The Miki hair, cap and band include morphs to fit May. May in the MP: http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=44255 NOTES/INSTRUCTIONS: - Liltsure Long hair is a figure and not an hair object for two main reasons: - it allows the hair to bend and therefore follow the head movement rather than remaining rigid ad poking-through easily - it allows the use of magnets which are very useful to create quick movements and adjust the included ones to your poses etc. some istructions and suggestion about Liltsure Hair and these features can be found in our Product support forum, here: http://www.aerysoul.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=504 - Liltsure material settings are optimized to work in P5/P6 but since they are very simple users of previous versions shouldn't need to edit them. If you're rendering in Poser 5/6 with the Poser 4 rendering engine the hair may not look perfect, check the bump setting to solve the problem (set to very low values or 0). Files .bum are not included (as well as .rsr thumbnails) and bump settings both in P4 and ProPack may need to be adjusted manually since these settings are much more sensible in P5/P6 therefore are set at very low values but you can also use the hair without the bumps. - Liltsure movement morphs mimic a wide variety of possible movements however to really take full advantage of the hair and its potential we suggest not only the use of the included morphs as they are but also mixing and matching them (perhaps at values lower than 0) to create your custom morphs,to add variety to the morphs and to adjust the morphs to your pose/enviroment. The same results are obtained using the hair magnets which allow you to quickly and easily customize the movement morphs or create a morphs from scratch (especially in case of simpler movements). - In addition to the movement morphs the hair has also some special effect morphs: spread, shrink/enlarge_hair, rotate_color, right Strand back: a- spread: it literally make the hair spread, you can use it as is or add its effect to the other movement morphs to have the hair spreading around or just to give it a bit more volume. b- shrink/enlarge hair: this actually shrink the various hair strands if set to positive values or elnarge them when set at negative values, giving move volume to the hair, from top to tip. By default this morph is set to -0.250, change the setting as you wish and prefer according to your tastes. c- rotate_colour: since the hair is actual 3d hair, it is sensible to the lights, this morphs was created to actually rotate the colour in case you're not satisfied with how the light is cast on it. - To make the hair a bit more voluminous use the "shrink/enlarge_hair" morph, a value of -0.250 is already enough, if you mix and match various morphs or use effect morphs such as spread it may result a bit too vluminous, in this case just lower the value or set it to 0, anyway the preview will show more or less how the hair will result so you can use it as reference. - Use the Right Strand back morph when you find this hair strand to display out of place (with more dynamic poses and at your own taste). STEP BY STEP - STEP BY STEP - STEP BY STEP - STEP BY STEP 1- Load the hair for the figure you want, Victoria 3, Stephanie 3 Petite, Aiko 3 or Miki and conform each piece to the figure 2- Go to your poses section and enter the "Liltsure-Morphs" folder, select the hair and click on the "! +Liltsure-inject" pose to inject the morphs into the hair. 3- The morphs are now all loaded into the hair, do any action (moving the camera, selecting an object, etc) to make the morph display 4- Now you can either use the morphs-ready-poses to set the morphs or set them manually from the head part of the hair or use the magnets for simpler movements. Tip: rather than injecting the morphs every time you will be using the hair we suggest saving an hair file with all the morphs already loaded in your figure library, at least for the characters you mostly use. POSES - POSES - POSES POSES - POSES - POSES POSES - POSES - POSES The folder "Liltsure-Mrphs" includes the "! +Liltsure-inject" pose, this pose will inject the hair morphs in the hair. The folder "Liltsure-Mrphs" also includes 1-click MATs to set the clothes morphs to 1, it also offers a graphic representation of the morphs you can use as reference to create your custom movements: Click on the MAT to set the morph you want. Each MAT pose sets the choosen morph to 1 and all the others (of the same kind) to 0. You can manually mix more morphs or customize them using the magnets to create unique morphs that fit perfectly your character's pose and your scene and that can create a great sense of dynamism. The morphs were created with Vicky in zeroed position, this means that poke-through may happen when you pose your character, just use other movement morphs and/or the magnets to correct such issues. Tis folder also includes MATs to change the appearance of the Magnets (see below). The special effect morphs have separate poses since they can be "added" to the movement once, you will find both a pose to enable them and a "Off" pose to disable them. The folder "Liltsure-MAT" includes MAT poses to change the hair color (hair and cap) and the style of the hair band. Remember to always change both the hair and cap colours to be matching otherwise you'll get strange colour effects. MAGNETS - MAGNETS - MAGNETS MAGNETS - MAGNETS - MAGNETS MAGNETS - MAGNETS - MAGNETS There are 3 magnets to move the hair, you can use them to move the hair from scratch or together with preset movements. In the poses folders you find some MATs for an easier fruition of the magnets: * the MAT pose "Edge" will set the magnets to show as edge only * the MAT pose "Full" will set the magnets to show as full * the MAT pose "Hide" will hide the magnets. * the MAT pose "Zero" will reset the magnets to their zeroed default position. - We raccomend to set the Foreground color to Black to better see the magnets. - Poser 6 default for deformers such as magnets is set to "Show Current selection only" [Display--> Deformers], this means that no matter whether the deformers are set to be shown or hidden (we have set the magnet zones and magnet bases to be hidden) in the cr2 or pp2 they will appear when you select a part of the clothing/hair they're linked to. The only way to solve this is to set this option to "Hide All" [Display--> Deformers] rather than "Show current selection only", this means all the deformers are now hidden by default but when working with Liltsure Hair (and our other clothes/hair that include the magnets feature) you can use the MATs that set the magnets appearance to edge only or full and they'll show, and this time you will only see the little spheres (that is the magnet handles) rather than the magnet zones and bases too: 1°- Go to Menu --> Display --> Deformers and choose "Hide All" 2°- Go to your Poses folder, enter the "Liltsure-Mrphs" folder and click the "!DefEdge_*" or "!DefFull_*" to make the magnets show up. To hide them once you're done use the "!DefHIDE_*" and to reset them to their zero position use the "!Zeroed_*". Poser 6 users: the Hair is set to not be "visible in raytracing" (properties window), we suggest leaving this setting as it is since, as the hair is completely 3d, the "visible in raytracing" option makes the render very very slow and the final result with this option disabled is great anyway (we never enabled it in any of our images). Also, since the rendering time using the hair can increase sensibly when using the new light/shadow options of P6 we suggest using the area render option to see if the hair look as it is supposed to and if there is any poke-throught to be corrected before rendering the complete scene. However if you incur in any such problems note you can adjust it and then render only the adjusted piece of the scene with the area render, this will really save time! - Being actual 3d the light does influence this hair, for better results with your light settings, in case you find the head hair doesn't look as you wish you can use the morph named ROTATE COLOR, which will change the inclination of the hair to better catch your lights. IF you want to use it remember to set it to 1 and no lower values. These notes should clear most of your doubts or questions about Liltsure Hair and its features but should you run into any issues or have any doubt and/or suggestion don't hesitate to contact us, we'll be more than glad to help out.
