Type in: 1.000 which is the maximum setting. You can have all morphs active at the same time for the tank, the trench and the crate. For a really rugged terrain you can go well over 1.000 for the trench prop. You can enhance the ruggedness further by increasing the Displacement to 0.4 or beyond for the Firefly Raytrace. RENDERING As you can see from the first prsentation picture, you can load several tank crewmen and manually alter their textures and helmet colors in the Material Room. In there, you can further tweak the textures, reflections or bump/displacement settings. You can always navigate to the Runtime:textures:TIGERTANK folder and mix and match textures and settings. Since all objects are low poly they will render fairly quickly, depending on your PC capabilities. For a quick but decent render in Poser 7 FireFly for example, use the following setup (which was used for the presentation picture): FireFly manual Settings Quality Cast Shadows:ON, Raytracing:ON, Raytrace bounces:2, Irradiance Caching:50, Pixel samples:5 (higher settings give smoother image but render slower), Min shading rate:0.21(the lower the setting, the better the texture detail), Max bucket size:20, Min displacement bounds:0.000. Options Render over current background shader. Only check the "Use displacement maps". Post filter size is 1 for "Box" filter type although "Gaussian" at 2 will give more natural, blurry photo appearence. Included light set TIGER LIGHT 1 will do but if you have Difuse IBL light option available, create one IBL right in front of the camera pointing to the center of the background plate at about 50% intensity. Set Ambient occlusion at about 0.60000 and a 0.800 Depth map shadow. A blue light from the rear right will give you a nice sky reflection on the helmets. Your main (white, Raytraced shadow light) should match the shadows in your background picture so position it at 11 o'clock (upper left corner) of your preview window and give it a 1.400 raytraced shadow at map size 1000 and a 7.0 shadow blur radius. Of course, you will have to tweak these a little but, in general, this light/render setup should always give you an nice blending with the background plate and some soft yet convincing shadows. Happy rendering from ThundeRRenderS!!!
