Product Title: Super Battle Towers By vbarreto (enriquebarreto@hotmail.com) Copyright March 22, 2006 RECOMMENDED MODE TO USE It is recommended to sink the towers into terrains, ground or water planes till the most proper position. They can even be sunk to show just the top and will simulate futuristic windowed domes or ramps. They can also be duplicated, rotated, parts interchanged and/or submerged at different altitudes giving a multiple models illusion and a complex city can be simulated. PROGRAM/HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS All towers have been tested in different 3D software applications (Poser 5 and 6; Vue d’Esprit 4, Vue 4 Professional and Vue 5 Infinite; Bryce 4 and 5.01; Daz Studio 1.0; Autodesk 3D max 7 and 3; Carrara 4 Pro; Strata 3D CX; Silo 1.41; Cinema 4D 8.5 and 9.52; Pandromeda Mojoworld 3.0 and Worldbuilder Pro 4,2) to ensure the model can be imported properly. The towers work entirely well in those programs. May work with Poser 4 but untested. It would not be possible to test the models with every 3D program on the market so there is no guarantee that it will work with the rest of 3D programs. A Pentium II system with 128MB of RAM would be the minimum recommended hardware requirement for using this model. Hard disk space required for both unzipped files is 24 MB. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -No Poser users (OBJ format): After unzipping the 2 ZIP archives select the one named "Battle towers No Poser". Double click on it and you will find the 5 towers obj files and textures files. Just follow the directions of your software for importing each obj file. Textures should run in the correct path. The towers are subdivided in suitably named parts for proper rotation, contraction and texturing, so an easily recognizable regrouping is recommended for efficient workflow. OBJ transfer plugin does not support texture reflection information. Please adjust metal reflection in your favourite program, as required. Some textures may require minor mapping adjusting for perfect display. -Poser 5 and 6 users (CR2 format): After unzipping the 2 ZIP archives select the one named "Battle towers Poser". Double click on it and you will find the Runtime folder. Left click your mouse and drag the folder "Runtime" into your poser (5 or 6) main directory; as follows: \curious labs\poser*\ or according to your preferred main poser directory. Click on "yes to all" to quickly place all of the files in the correct places. The 5 towers have been automatically located under the Battle towers file in the figures library. Each tower is a figure and their subdivided parts (body parts) EG: turrets, guns, spinner, etc, can be rotated by adjusting the already named dials controls in the parameters palette. Origin joints have also been accurately relocated. The towers have been scaled up to work precisely with Poser human figures. Please zoom the camera out if framing of the whole towers is required, since they are large buildings. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All this product's content was created by vbarreto.
