This set was build to gain most realistic lighting, atmospheric and beautiful with jsut a few lights used at once. This will enable you to alter the settings to your need and taste without messing around with a confusing quantity of lights that will abundantly increase the rendertime. COPYRIGHT INFORMATION: All of this product's content was created by SaintFox. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Run Winzip or another zip-program and point it to your Poser directory. All files will be placed as shown below from the Filelist. Be sure to check the "Use folder names" option when unzipping and point Winzip to your Poser directory. After unzipping you will find your new lights in the Folder "SaintFox Lights" in your light-library and in the Folder "SaintFox Cameras" in your camera-library. The content of these folders can be moved to another folder (or be renamed) in the corresponding library to keep your runtime neatly arranged. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- USAGE: Be sure to load your figure before using the lights because some of the lights are parented. If you want to try out several sets you should delete the previous lights first before loading a new one. You can to this quick and easy by choosing Python Scripts-->Utility functions-->Delete all lights. Be sure to uncheck "Reuse shadow maps" before you do light tests - otherwise you will get the "wrong shadows for the right lights". SOME TIPS: Most of the lights are neutral-colored in white, grey and sepia-tones to get a realistic effect and to leave the skin-tones as they are. You can easily get cool new effects when changing the colors. When using a background or other environment and playing with different camera settings you should do a test-render first to preview the shadows. Depending on your camera angle and the used environment in your scene you may get unwanted shadows. To alter them try decreasing the "Shadow" setting of one or more lights in the properties window, try your hand on the shadow blur radius or turn the shadow off on one or more lights. I recommend to make small step-by-step alterations and do several (small) testrenders with the final rendersettings to give your light the final perfection. Please keep in mind that a high-quality image isn't done in some minutes and you'll see that careful lighting will blow life in your characters. When setting up your render you can give the included InTheMood-Rendersettings a try - and alter them to your needs. You can reach the preset by Please keep in mind that I've done them for getting best results on my own pc and for large sized renders - if you use a more or less powerful computer you should alter them to get best possible results while preventing a memory-error. You can choose Render-presets by clicking Render setting --> Load preset. There's a button for saving presets, too. If you found your personal perfect settings be sure to save them! THE CAMERA-SETTINGS: Don't let the quadratic thumbnails fool you! All camera-settings base on the classic 2:3 format. If you don't want to change anything you should set up your preview window to something like 400x600/600x400 or relating sizes. Please make sure that the render-dimensions match the aspect ratio of your preview window. These camera-sets are meant as a starting point. Don't hesitate to experiment with them, play around with the settings and make your own collection! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FILELIST \inthemood-lights\Runtime\ FileList.txt license.txt \inthemood-lights\Runtime\ReadMe's\ In The Mood lights.txt \inthemood-lights\Runtime\prefs\RenderPresets\ InTheMood-Lights.prp \inthemood-lights\Runtime\libraries\Light\SaintFox Lights\ ItM1 Blue shine.lt2 ItM1 Blue shine.png ItM1 Contrast.lt2 ItM1 Contrast.png ItM1 Drama.lt2 ItM1 Drama.png ItM1 Fashion.lt2 ItM1 Fashion.png ItM1 In the shadow.lt2 ItM1 In the shadow.png ItM1 Lavender shine.lt2 ItM1 Lavender shine.png ItM1 Out of the dark.lt2 ItM1 Out of the dark.png ItM1 Perfect skin.lt2 ItM1 Perfect skin.png ItM1 Shiny blue.lt2 ItM1 Shiny blue.png ItM1 Soft Greys.lt2 ItM1 Soft Greys.png ItM1 Soft White.lt2 ItM1 Soft White.png ItM1 Stage light.lt2 ItM1 Stage light.png ItM1 Two spots.lt2 ItM1 Two spots.png ItM2 For Latex-kneel.lt2 ItM2 For Latex-kneel.png ItM2 For Latex-lie.lt2 ItM2 For Latex-lie.png ItM2 For Latex-sit.lt2 ItM2 For Latex-sit.png ItM2 For Latex-stand.lt2 ItM2 For Latex-stand.png ItM3 Portrait1.lt2 ItM3 Portrait1.png ItM3 Portrait2.lt2 ItM3 Portrait2.png ItM3 Portrait3.lt2 ItM3 Portrait3.png ItM3 Sitting Figure2.png ItM3 Sitting figure1.lt2 ItM3 Sitting figure1.png ItM3 Sitting figure2.lt2 \inthemood-lights\Runtime\libraries\Camera\SaintFox Cameras\ ItM Lie-Horiz1.cm2 ItM Lie-Horiz1.png ItM Lie-Horiz2.cm2 ItM Lie-Horiz2.png ItM Portrait-Vert1.cm2 ItM Portrait-Vert1.png ItM Portrait-Vert2.cm2 ItM Portrait-Vert2.png ItM Sit-Horiz.cm2 ItM Sit-Horiz.png ItM Sit-Vert.cm2 ItM Sit-Vert.png ItM Stand-Vert.cm2 ItM Stand-Vert.png
