modelling - beginner guide -------------------------- copyright 2006 - Nicolae Patrut nicolaeP2001@yahoo.com All of this product's content was created by nicu1. The buyers are not allowed to copy and resale this pack or the files from it with the exemption of the files I put in folder called "10-free-objects" that can be modified, texturized or compleated and use for commercial or noncomercial purpose or can be imported in Poser and saved like props without any alteration. This pack is a is a 'teaching' aid (a learn thru picture guide) for beginners that want to learn modelling and build their own props. It is a little help in learning elementary commands and usual steps that lead from primitive objects to grouped objects and not very complex but helpfull props. The pack contains the explanation about: 1- how to build an object from primitive geometries like cube (box), cilinder, cone, pyramid etc, adding more primitives or intersecting them, cloning, resizing and allign them. 2- how to create objects from open curves rotating these around x, y or z axes. 3- how to create objects from closed curves and surfaces adding the 3-rd dimension to these. 4- how to create template maps for these objects using uvmapper. 5- how to create textures for your objects, painting with adequate tools or pasting and mixing some photos on the templates you created, for more realistic results. 6- how to import the object files in your Poser program and how to save them like props in Poser's props folder. The pack contains 13 folders with jpg-picture-files and text explanation files that illustrates the examples, commands, actions, results and menus. Use a proper software-program to see the jpg files and use notepad to read the explanations. To use the prop from chapter 11 follow this scheme: -make a folder (#1) called "monum" in Poser's props folder -make a folder (#2) called "monum" in Poser's textures folder -put monument2.pp2 and monument2.rsr files in #1) -put monumnick.jpg file in #2) Use a proper software to improve the texture if you want to use it. *) notes: Windows is registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation.
