PROGRAM/HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

The all-terrain wizard castle has been tested in different 3D software applications (Poser 5 and 6; Vue d’Esprit 4, Vue 4 Professional and Vue 5 Infinite; Bryce 4 and 5.01; Daz Studio 1.0; Autodesk 3D max 7 and 3; Carrara 4 Pro; Strata 3D CX; Silo 1.41; Cinema 4D 8.5 and 9.5; Pandromeda Mojoworld 3.0 and Worldbuilder Pro 4,2) to ensure the model can be imported properly. The castle works entirely well in those programs.

May work with Poser 4 but untested.

It would not be possible to test the models with every 3D program on the market so there is no guarantee that it will work with the rest of 3D programs. 

A Pentium I system with 128MB of RAM would be the minimum recommended hardware requirement for using this model. Hard disk space required for the whole package is 12 MB.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

-No Poser users (OBJ format): After unzipping the 2 ZIP archives select the one named "Wizardcastle No Poser". Double click on it and you will find the model obj file and textures files. Just follow the directions of your software for importing obj files. Textures should run in the correct path if they share same folder. The castle is subdivided in 8 suitably named sections for proper rotation and invisibility properties, so an easily recognizable re-grouping is recommended for efficient workflow. 

-Poser 5 and 6 users (PP2 format): After unzipping the 2 ZIP archives select the one named "Wizardcastle Poser". Double click on it and you will find the Runtime folder. Left click your mouse and drag the folder "Runtime" into your poser (5 or 6) main directory; as follows: \curious labs\poser*\  or according to your preferred main poser directory. Click on "yes to all" to quickly place all of the files in the correct places. 
The wizard castle has been located under the Wizardcastle file in the Props library. The wizard castle has been scaled to work precisely with Poser human figures and its 8 sections EG: windmill, telescope, main door etc, can be rotated by adjusting the already named dials controls in the parameters palette. Hierarchy, origin joints and limits have also been made. All sections can be clicked invisible in the properties palette and 4 camera files has been created in the camera library for interior scenes capturing.
