Needed Files List:

Poser 4/5/6, Victoria 3 Base SAE (available free from DAZ 3D).

NOTE: The model shown in the renders is my Seraphina Custom Character For V3 and is not included in this pack. She is available in the MarketPlace at Renderosity.

Installation Instructions:

1. Extract the Zip folder to your Poser folder. NOTE: if using an early German version of Poser remember to copy the folders found in the Runtime\libraries\Pose folder after extraction to Runtime\libraries\Posen and the folders found in Runtime\libraries\Props to Runtime\libraries\Gegenstände or else the product will not function properly, this may also be true for other languages other than English.

NOTE: Liberty Hair is found in the Props library after installation and NOT the Hair library!

2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below:

Application Instructions:

1. Start Poser 4/5/6.

2. Load your Victoria 3 figure.

3. Open the Props library and then open Liberty Hair.

4. Load the hair, it will automatically snap to your figure´s head.

5. Select the Liberty Hair.

6. You can then use the 25 styling morph dials to style the hair as you wish or use one of the 3 preset morph styles. To do this just set the dial for one of the preset styles to 1.000.

7. Open the Pose library and then open Liberty Hair MAT.

8. Load one of the MAT files to activate the texture and transmap you wish to use.

9. IMPORTANT: If you use the Firefly render engine to render your image make sure to turn off texture filtering to avoid unsightly seams in the hair.

Usage Tips and Limitations:

1. You may need to carry out a bit of postwork on your renders to get exactly what you want and to make the hair totally realistic.

2. The Style 3 MAT does not look great if you are using a camera that is behind the model and looking up at the hair from below.

3. Make sure to turn off the texture filtering option in the Firefly render engine options to avoid unsightly seams in the hair.

4. You may be surprised that the hair is found in the Props library and not in the Hair library. The reason for this is the way the hair was built and textured. When I saved it to the hair library the textures did not work properly.

I hope you enjoy using Liberty Hair For V3!

Cheers
