The .bum file format is not supported if you want to use Linedy in Poser 4. Explanation included in the .psd. _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Important Notes: 1) The first step to apply the Linedy texture on V4 MUST BE the following: Apply the "!!L_Whole_Texture.pz2". !! The additional textures (eyes, second skins, heads) are "part-textures" - that's why you first !!!MUST!!! load "!!L_Whole_Texture.pz2" in order to use the whole package properly. This "!!L_Whole_Texture.pz2" Mat pose also helps you to RESET all the textures. 2) To apply the Linedy character to V4, please use the INJ files: !_L_Head_INJ.pz2 for the head !_L_Body_INJ.pz2 for the body. Of course, with the REM files, you can remove the Linedy character from your V4 figure. 4) We've included two versions of Linedy. First, the "normal" optimized Linedy MAT files with bump and displacement maps and everything you need. To take the realism a step further, there are shaded options. They are same files, just with SSS options. All SSS are indicated with "SSS" at the end. The textures are all very big in size and you'll need a powerful computer to use them. 5) For every customer who wants to use his or her own eyebrow settings, we've included a .psd file with no eyebrows on the map. You can follow the explanation in this .psd file to create your own Linedy head textures without eyebrows on it. 6) The Body Inj turns off the Inverse Kinematic of V4's legs. That's very important in order to use Linedy with poses. IF you should ever occur that Linedy has odd legs, then the Inverse Kinematic is turned on again and you should dial her custom morphs manually to 1. (To do this click on the body part, look in your Parameter Dials Tab and go to INJChannels->Community->L and dial to 1. That's it.) 7) All Second Skins can be removed via doubleclick on the "...OFF.pz2" files. The second Second Skin has a second option for the legs: The default version included shoe socks but while not everybody may like them, we created a 3/4 jeans option for this suit. So if you don't like the default seond skin (Suit 2) make sure you use the MAT file anyway and then doubleclick the MAT called "b_L_Suit_2_LegsV2.pz2"/ b_L_Suit_2_LegsV2_SSS.pz2. This file injects the short jeans version on your character. Further information: Please note: We are using the render settings as followed: First, we are using very bright lights (white and grey) to make our renders clear and crisp. Mostly, we render with the Poser 4 engine in Poser 6, just because it's quick and easy. We have all boxes expect for the "cast shadows" checked. When we are using the Poser 6 firefly render engine, we are using those settings: "Smooth polygons" checked "Use Displacement maps" checked, to use the second skins (+++Version) Nothing else checked, only sometimes,if we like: "Cast shadows" checked Raytrace bounces: 1 Min shading rate: 0,00 Pixel sample: 3 Mas texture size 4096 (!!!) Max bucket size: 32 And please: UNCHECK Texture filtering, it often creates seams when they were made very accurate. To have a good working Linedy - turn it off!
