Background:

How Ruby Became A Mistress

Orphaned at an early age and raised by her maternal grandmother, Ruby had grown up poor but happy. What she lacked in money and possessions, she more than made up for in cute looks, a kind heart, and the voice of an angel.

All her life Ruby had dreamed of being on the stage, playing in the great musicals of the day and on her grandmother's death, she used her meagre savings to buy a one-way ticket to New York hoping to find fame and fortune in the big city. Unfortunately, the lure of the bright lights attracted many other small town girls with similar dreams, and Ruby counted herself lucky to find work as a hat-check girl in one of the smaller theatres. There she reasoned, she could at least experience the thrill of opening nights and the faint smell of greasepaint in the air.

Ruby still sang, she couldn't help herself, and she tried out all the latest tunes as she strolled through the streets on her way to and from work. Little did the passers-by who were her only audience know, that the lovely young woman who cheered them with her golden voice, went home each evening to an empty apartment and dreamed her dreams alone.

Life (and fairytales) have a funny way of surprising us and as such, one glorious sunny morning which gave Ruby an extra spring in her step, she caught the attention of the man who was to change her life.

Barnaby T. Barnaby, that great entrepreneur whose lineage went back almost to the Mayflower, was jaded and world-weary of the life of privilege into which he had been born. His marriage of convenience to a wife who preferred spending time with friends in the Hamptons rather than with him, left him lonely and yearning for love. With a passion for the arts, he filled his days and nights in theatres and galleries, often funding major productions and patronising upcoming artists.

Sitting in his office overlooking the park and hearing melodious notes drifting up from the street below, he decided to investigate and perhaps get a spot of lunch at the same time. Astonished to find that the voice belonged to a beautiful dark-haired girl sitting on a bench feeding the birds, Barnaby almost lost his nerve (for all his wealth and prestige he was still a shy little boy at heart) but something made him persevere and as he approached her, she looked up and smiled.

The rest as they say, is history, and a great love affair was born...

Extract the zip file into your Poser Runtime
Open Poser, have fun and make art!

Usage Tips:


Open Poser and load Victoria 4

Locate the folder Runtime/Pose/AMF/v4_kruby

Select Victoria 4's body

Load the appropriate !!!MOR_INJ  pz2 file

Load the !!MAT_BASE.pz2

Ruby is now ready to clothe, pose and render (remember to add some good lighting too!)

You can change her appearance by loading any of the additional !MAT_makeup/eyes/nails/sskins pz2 files

The !MAT_makeup pz2's will change Ruby's make-up, eyes and nail colors with one click
while the !MAT_eyes/nails/sskins options will only affect the relevant parts of her body.
