'Fun PS styles' is a set of 50 beautiful Photoshop layer styles in .ASL format. A special care has been taken in choosing the colour as well as making sure that these beautiful styles can be applied to texts, images, thin lines, outlines, frames and pearls. As with other Photoshop styles, some look better on texts, some on ornaments, and some are just perfect for pearls and small embelsihments. Whatever you choose to apply the styles to, I am sure you will be more than happy with these one-click wonders!

INSTALLATION:

You will need an unzipping program (such as WinZip, or you can use WindowsXP's unzipping ability). Unzip the files and place them in a folder of your choice. Then copy the file 'dp's Fun PS styles.ASL' to your Photoshop styles' Windows directory (usually C:/Program Files/Adobe Photoshop/Presets/Styles).



USAGE TIPS:

- you will get best results by applying the styles to a white image
- your image should be 500px and larger for the styles to show as I have intended.
- if you need smaller images, first apply a style to a large image, merge your layers, copy image where you want it, reduce the size and judiciously apply the sharpen filter.
- the styles look best if applied to 72dpi images. If you are working at 300dpi, before applying the style, go to your image settings (Image > Image size) and in the popup window, under the resolution, reduce the size to 72dpi, UNCHECK 'Resample image' and press OK. After you have applied the style, simply go back to Image size, write in 300dpi and press OK again.
